Live by the polls,
Die by the polls
Why is Richard Riordan in the poll results but not Diane Feinstein ? The poll should track the declared candidates, not a fantasy list.

LOL! Arianna's getting whipped by Flynt! ;-)

The poll was done last Thursay, Friday, and Sunday.
Last Thursday, it was a possibilty that Riordan would be in the race, so they probably kept his name for the Thursday and Friday polling.
IMO, it is a pretty sure bet that the 95% of the 11% that Riordan got will go to Arnold.

A lot can happen in the next 60 days and I expect this recall election campaign will get real dirty. Arnold's liberal credentials should earn him some of the votes that would otherwise go to Boy Davis. And while Arnold's chances of winning are good, watch out for the other liberal in the race. Watch out for Bustamante.
To: Dane
Poll-Schmoll. Bustamante is going to be tough to beat, with three Republicans splitting the vote.

There is a Mexican KKK- it is called MEChA. And while I don't think he is a Grand Dragon in it (I am not sure what the equivalent title is), he certainly has not tried to distance himself from the group.

Gallup Poll: Davis Recall is leading 69% to 26%

PRINCETON, NJ -- California voters seem poised to dump their current governor more than three years before his term expires and replace him with a popular Hollywood actor with virtually no political experience. If the election were held today, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll shows that the recall drive would draw the support of close to two-thirds of California's registered voters (only a majority is needed). Among a list of the more prominent people running to replace the incumbent Governor Gray Davis, Arnold Schwarzenegger draws the most support, with the current lieutenant governor a distant second place...
-- snip --
Note that Schwarzenegger (48) plus Riordan (26) = 74%

There were some interesting exchanges on CNN's "Reliable Sources" over the weekend. It was pretty clear from the statements of the guests that the media is admittedly going to do everything it can to keep Ah-nold from getting elected. In fact, they even said so.
The problemo the media has is the same one the Dems at large have - they wellstone everything. (New word meaning to take a premise and wildly distort it over the top.) So you can look for the media to go so far out of its way to slam Ah-nold that it will be blatantly apparent - and probably backfire.
The media has no sense of how far to go.

Cause the dems and their cohorts live in a fantasy world where America is destroyed by it's enemies, from without and within.
