DEMOCRAT SPOKESMAN WARNS OF 'REAL BULLETS' AGAINST ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

California Democratic Party Spokesman Bob Mulholland this weekend warned Arnold Schwarzenegger that "real bullets" will be coming his way during his campaign to be governor!

"Schwarzenegger is going to find out, that unlike a Hollywood movie set, the bullets coming at him in this campaign are going to be real bullets and he is going to have to respond to them," warned Mulholland in an interview with a camera crew from ABC NEWS.

"[Wife] Maria [Shriver] has been very concerned about Arnold's safety, her family has a history with assassination, you know," a source with direct ties to the movie star told the DRUDGE REPORT from Los Angeles.

"Mr. Mulholland and his talk of 'real bullets' with Arnold's name on them is reckless and not acceptable political discourse. He should be fired immediately, if the Democrats have any conscience."

The stunning threat from Mulholland, who rose to fame in 1992 after exposing how Republican Senate candidate Bruce Herschensohn visted a strip joint in Hollywood, comes as the historic recall election moves in to high gear -- and Schwarzenegger takes the lead in the polls.

Mullholland could not be reached for comment Sunday night.

I don't think that was an assassination threat and I think he was referrring to Arnold's movie roles. Nevertheless I think we should all be in paroxysms of alarm and acuse the dem of insensitivity,,just capitalize on this remark the same way they capitalized on trent lott's remarks. Anyone who thinks this was an assassination threat is unable to think in the abstract. Anyway,carry on,,I for one plan to say "oh, how distressing, how insensitive" myself and then sort of whisper, "do you think? Oh no, he really didn't mean it, do you think so?" and look vaguely alarmed.

It was poor judgement at the very least to use the phrase, "real bullets". Imagine if Arnold said the same thing. The Clinton would hit the fan then!

I'm not up on every detail about Arnold and his wife. I've heard that his wife is a Kennedy, or something on that order. Considering that real bullets were used to kill the real men of her family-- John and Bobby, leaving the geldings to run things, I would imagine that would make this much worse even for Arnold's wife than most wives.

Mulholland is a flaming jacka$$ of the worst variety. Hugh Hewitt has him on once a week is it is amazing the lying that comes out of his mouth. It is like the Martin Short skit from SCTV with the lawyer who says something and then immediately denies it, only Mulholland is not funny. The Graystapo is already out in force, and Mulholland should be fired over this. He won't of course, and the negative PR should be turned on this guy. He should be ruined in the manner he has done to everyone else.

So there is little shock value left when Mulholland followed the cue set by Alec Baldwin in threatening murder. If such words would have come from a Republican, there would be one media frenzy.
