I don't think that was an assassination threat and I think he was referrring to Arnold's movie roles. Nevertheless I think we should all be in paroxysms of alarm and acuse the dem of insensitivity,,just capitalize on this remark the same way they capitalized on trent lott's remarks. Anyone who thinks this was an assassination threat is unable to think in the abstract. Anyway,carry on,,I for one plan to say "oh, how distressing, how insensitive" myself and then sort of whisper, "do you think? Oh no, he really didn't mean it, do you think so?" and look vaguely alarmed.

I'd heard that Arnold had married into the Kennedy family. Imagine a poorly-considered phrase like that, how that would impact on a Kennedy.
