The spread was only 5% last time with a very conservative Republican candidate, and the winner of this October's election will likely have a much smaller share of the vote than last time. For such a sunny, plentiful state, California sure has a lot of desperate pessimists.

Anna Richardson is a professional TV ----tease; considering her reputation, nobody would blame Arnold even if it WAS proven true. The RATS will have to come up with someone several orders of magnitude more angelic before the public would even pay attention ... and they probably won't even then. The first thing Arnold did was warn them that Davis was going to go after him on this issue, and after what Mulholland did today, almost anything "negative" leaked out about Arnold that doesn't rise to the level of a felony will now be considered by the public as a RAT dirty trick and only GAIN Arnold votes.

Amazing. And to think that all those lies, all that hate, is what got him PROMOTED to the highest PR position in the whole of the Democratic Party. Jamie Lee Curtis said in 2002 when Arnold was considering running and the RATs had those two operatives come forward that Arnold was not like he was being portrayed. He was a family man!

Have a feeling other people from the Hollywood community are going to come forward since not all of them are on kneepads for Clinton.

BTW if you get a chance, see Jamie Lee Curtis' new movie Freaky Friday -- it is hilarious and keeps you laughing all through the movie. After I saw she defended Arnold in 2002, I am even more glad my daughter and I went to her movie on Friday!

The Progressively Fascist Democrats are in complete meltdown in California. They have not a clue as to what they are doing or what is about to happen to them. In the state of California they have won elections and controlled all the major electable offices by smear campaign tactics. Their fiscal political ideals have been rejected by the public but they forced their way into office threw smear tactics. As a result of their fiscal governance and failed ideology the states fiscal budget is wrecked, the states bond rating is wrecked, they have driven thousands of businesses away and driven large population blocks away. They were recently caught conspiring to create a fiscal budget crisis just so they could convince (or extort) the Californian public to amend the 2/3 requirement to raise taxes. They have fought the recall every way possible. Attempted numerous lawsuits to slow the recall and all have failed. At the very edge of the cliff the progressively fascist herd is running over, what do they do ? Install a Davis puppet on the ballot who asks Democrats to vote NO on the recall but YES on him. I guess in some alternative universe that type of logic might be called democratic. And to top this all off, they begin their smear tactic on Arnold by threatening him with 'real bullets'. When Arnold says he will clean Sacramento of the corrupt politicians, how have these same corrupt politicians responded ? With threats of 'real bullets'. This my friends is the very definition of political corruption.

The best thing that can happen is for the dims to put out spokesmen like Mulholland. There are not enough adjectives to describe the sleaze of this man. Everytime a campaign like this comes up, Mulholland slithers out from under his rock, and his forked tongue is put to work. Chris Matthews cannot stand him, what does that tell you? This is only the first day of the campaign, and this sleazeball is just getting warmed up. Stay tuned!
