(So it's sorta social, demented and sad, but social.)

One thing to keep in mind, throwing Arnold out there might be a good thing, considering the voters might blame the new governor for not turning the state around by the time the next election rolls around.

Arnold was a millionaire from real estate before his first acting job. Just an FYI. See Victoria, I told you he likes you. He's never argued with me about anything until now.
I heard that he was into RE from investing 25 grand he won in a muscle contest. I didn't know he was a millionaire though.

We fought to recall Davis, we should fight to get the best candidate. I agree, and I hope most Californians think that way. I know this recall is the second successful gubernatorial recall in history since 1917 (I hope I'm right.) So I hope the best candidate wins.

There is no need to rush to judgment. None.
Well, I've rushed to judge that Simon, Issa, Bustamante, and Arnold won't get my vote. The porn chick and the Different Strokes survivor are highly doubtful, as of now, so I'm being very methodic about this.

I belong to the Republican Party aka the GOP throughout my lengthening voting life. I was also simultaneously a Libertarian Party officer in my foolish youth in a state which allowed such dual situations but that was long, long ago. You remember the GOP. The party whose national platform opposes abortion, supports marriage between one man and one woman (protecting the household pets, inter alia, by implication), opposes unnecessary spending, wants to cut taxes, supports the right of each individual to keep and bear firearms and not just in the movies, opposes social spending schemes like Aaaaaahnld's gummint school nanny care, supports a strong mlitary and not just on movie screens, and a strong foreign policy like that of Dubya and Rumsfeld, etc. You know, that Republican Party!
The one that has no Kennedys in the family. The one whose platform pro-abort Pete Wilson and Mexican cleansing Pete Wilson (hence Planned Barrenhood Wilson) resents so much. That Republican Party.
BTW, Planned Barrenhood, under Margaret Sanger was up to its eyeballs in Nazi connections and in those sorry Depression days, largely "Republican." It was then known as the American Birth Control League. It had an "official observer" at the Nazi Eugenics Courts breathlessly observing what a spiffy job Herr Hitler was doing of "cleaning up" the German gene pool, one Lothrop Stoddard, Ph.D. (3 degrees in history from Hahvuhd) and author of that classic: The Rising Tide of Color: The Challenge to White Supremacy, among other ravings. Sanger, Stoddard and friends were purged when WWII broke out and a new name Planned Parenthood was born but the ideology has always remained. Look them up on Google.
If I saw evidence of any answers to policy questions evidencing an IQ above 12, I might not call the jerk Musclehead but I don't see much danger of that.
I don't like RINOs and I don't like CINOs (Catholics in name only). These were categories shared by Musclehead and Adolph Hitler. I can say that because I am Catholic. Hitler was Reichsfuhrer. It was in all the history books and the newspapers of the time. He had policies that approved the deaths of many innocents just like Aaaaaaahnold. Aaaaaahnold voluntarily and cheerily buys off on the slicing, dicing and hamburgerization of innocent babies and will gladly pay for more and, ahem, NOT use his line item veto to stop public funding (forcing pro-lifers to pay his taxes to kill babies or to leave) of baby killing. He hasn't had the chance yet to directly take responsibility and kill massive numbers of innocents but he is eager to do so if he can get ahead on their deaths. I don't have a lot of use for his wife's Uncle Ted for those reasons and many more, either. How about you? Hitler did kill 11 million innocents, 6 million Jews, 5 million others in the camps. That's the essential difference.

Are people really serious about letting one of the rumrunner's clan establish a beachhead in our state, in our party?

Nah I'm not arguing with you. I'd love to see a real conservative governor. I fear Arnold is just too popular though.

Basically, I keep hearing the song:
Any RINO is better than any Jackass.
And "The Oak" is better than donkey-boy Davis.
This seems to be the music of Hugh Hewitt and other "soft" conservatives.
I'm not sure (yet) that I like this song, (I prefer Hard Rock, Hard Work, Hard Money, Hard Right), but it does clarify their tune, eh?
...Just then "The Oak" burst through the door, picked up his gun and showered the room with hot lead. As the smoke cleared, I looked to see if I had been plugged. It was then I found my wallet missing....
Carry on, P-Marlowe!

"I'm interested in the process," Bush said when asked whether the actor would make a good governor. "It's fascinating to see who's in and who's out. And -- yeah, I think he'd be a good governor." I am also interested in who is in and who is out.
Schwarzenegger is no Reagan, never will be.
But he's lightyears ahead of the commie scum who now run california.

The same things are wrong with Aaaaaaahnold's after school baby-sitting schemes as the rest of gummint edumakashun. We don't have enough weeks until October 7 to list half of them. Furthermore, California's school, for all the money squandered on them, seem to have developed a horrendous reputation even among gummint schools for gross academic incompetence.
Also, when did Howard Jarvis die? He was still alive to endorse this nonsense just last year????? If so, he must have been senile.

If you really want to know why liberals always side with the enemies of the US, ask Aaaaaaahnold. He can ask himself or his wife's Uncle Ted Kennedy. If Aaaaaahnold, against all odds, is an actual patriot and has at least that one principle, then you have asked the wrong question because he sure as hell is a liberal. He CAN ask Uncle Ted though, regardless.
