To the uninformed, homosexuality is as common as heterosexual behavior. At least, you might think that if you based your decision on the promotion of homosexuality in the American mainstream.
In reality, though, based on the most recent statistics, only about 2.8. percent of men and 1.4 percent of women in the U.S. identify themselves as homosexual facts acknowledged by pro-homosexual groups in the recent U.S. Supreme Court case which struck down a Texas law banning sodomy.
Why, then, do so many people in the media, in politics, and in government pardon the expression bend over for the homosexual lobby, considering it is such a small portion of the population? Maybe it's because they're cowards; they're afraid to be called a name for opposing homosexual behavior.
But here's another fact. Homosexuality has been around since mankind first sinned against God. And it's a behavior that's bound to be around at least as long as Barney Frank is allowed to butcher the English language. So why is it such an issue for supporters and opponents?
It's hard to say. But one thing that isn't hard for many "religious" figures who claim homosexuality is to say their behavior is somehow sanctioned by God, despite clear and precise language in the Bible refuting that ridiculous assertion.
Such is the case with openly "gay" Rev. Gene Robinson, Episcopalian bishop-elect of the Diocese of New Hampshire. As have other homosexual religious before him, he's claiming his behavior is sanctioned by the Almighty.
Robinson said he rejoiced with "gays" and lesbians that the church has "opened its doors to all God's people." While admitting his election "is a troubling decision for many in our church," Robinson says, "I think God is doing a new thing here. He is telling us that he wants gay and lesbian people to be included. He wants them to know he is including them in his embrace. This is almost unstoppable."
Constituents don't even agree with that. The Episcopal Church is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and in 1998, Anglican bishops overwhelming approved a resolution stating homosexual behavior is "incompatible with scripture."
Maybe they had read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, which states, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders will inherit the kingdom of God."
Or Genesis 19, where the Bible describes the account of Sodom and Gomorrah, in which the wickedness of men (including homosexuality) is part of what brought the city down.
Peter and Jude make reference to homosexuality as an act of "ungodly, lawless, unnatural and extreme immorality."
Leviticus 18:22 and 24 describe homosexuality as an "abomination" and something that is "defiling." In Leviticus 20:13 it is described as an "abomination" worthy of death.
In Deuteronomy 23:17, if you were a "sodomite" you were forbidden from the land of Israel. In Judges 19 the act of homosexuality is described as "wickedness."
And, in 1 Kings 14, 15, and 22 the removal of male prostitutes from the land of Israel is viewed as a sign of much-needed spiritual reformation.
In Romans 1:18-32 the Apostle Paul describes homosexuality as "unclean," "impure," "dishonoring to the body," "vile," "degrading / disgraceful," "contrary to nature," "unseemly/ obscene," "improper activity of a depraved mind," "unrighteous" and "wicked."
Gay and lesbian men and women of the cloth have tried to parse the Bible's plain language against homosexuality in order to justify their actions. They claim God says homosexuality is OK as long as they don't act on their feelings.
Oh. Well, forgive me, but how do you know you're homosexual if you haven't acted on your feelings in some way?
Want to be part of the small percentage of Americans who identify themselves as homosexual? This is America; help yourself.
But don't use the Lord to justify your behavior because the Bible plainly states God doesn't abide homosexuality. That's not simply a politically incorrect opinion, it is a fact supported by lots of Scripture.
Homosexuals will have to find another crutch besides the Bible on which to rest their broken consciences.
Of course God wants everyone in His Kingdom. He wouldn't turn away from a homosexual, just as He wouldn't turn away from someone else who was struggling in their sin. But, just like any other sin, He would expect them to change once they had met Christ.
What a moron. One might as well ask how you know Anna Kournikova is hot if you haven't stalked her.
Strange words for someone who just said he thinks God endorses it...
Now....there's a revelation.
Some will decide to accomplish that with anything. Others will accomplish that according to natural order.
Until you act out a behavior, you simply haven't yet chosen the unnatural route. Whether men with men, men with animals, men with rubber dolls -- the question is whether their sense of control will permit release with anything they can get their hands on.
Strange words for someone who just said he thinks God endorses it...
I know!! It's like saying "We are doing God's will, and there's nothing He can do to stop us!" Nonsense!!

Some people can't even begin to accomplish that "according to the natural order." If a man can't get an erection for a woman then the whole thing is a no-go. Other people can't do it any other way.
