But the Scripture is clear as to what "reason" shows us. This from the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:32
knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

To me the funny thing is that they will reject scripture on the one hand if it is not reasonable to them, but then pick the ones they like and hammer you about it as if scriptural all of a sudden matters. Seems its political brainwashing in action, not religion. Common in America, as my catholic wife rejects everything that makes demands on her or opposes her liberal views , but goes ballistic if I assert the same freedom of interpreting marriage requirements in the scriptures. Go figure. I reject the demands of such silly people with no moral standing except feelings of the moment.

Because Jesus's blood covered the old law. Re-read my post again and you will see that his "love" message had a forgiveness and a directive.

No amount of man's reasoning can trump his message.

Practicing, non-repentants of any sin are admonished to go and sin no more. That they do means their sin and consequences are definitely on their own heads. Prisons may not be full of them but there is another place that is.

Point taken. I'm buying into Shaw's notion of what constitutes "reason," but trying to point out that he has rejected Scripture in favor of his notion of reason.
