IMHO, the Pubbies are plenty smart enough to counter this. They just need to grow some cojones!

On most fronts, Bush administration officials and conservative judges are dominating the law and public policy.

Liberals on crack alert. Let's see what recent court decisions can I think of any import...

1) Court finds a right to sodomy in the Constitution

2) Court finds no right to not be racial discriminated against.

Yeah, those conservative jurists are doing wonders.

The liberals can't win in the ballot box anymore, even with their rampant stuffing, so they are going to try and keep winning via the courts...just you see. As bad as the courts have been its only going to get worse if the Reps don't restore some sort of ideological balance fast.

Federal judges can be impeached, of course. If the Republicans want to get some judicial appointments through the Senate, how about wholesale bills of impeachment against all liberal judges on the federal bench? The could then withdraw them when Bush's judges are confirmed. The House impeaches; no filibuster. And I'm pretty sure you can't filibuster and impeachment vote. Not that the Dems won't try...

Democrats = Aren't these the people who claim that judicial nominees cannot be partisan ..?? HELLO! I See a little partisan ship in the fact that 14 FEDERAL JUDGES have shown up to a THINK TANK meeting.

Does anybody know how we can find out who those judges are and where they are sitting on the bench ..??

If this wasn't so scary, it would be funny. Really, think about it, progressives working under the name of American Constitution? It's scary because they really believe it , and have so many people fooled. A commie by any other name...

What a joke! The liberal judges are in place and making law from the bench all over this country! That they would dare mention our constitution and their agenda in the same breath is offensive. In fact, this entire article is offensive.

What are they worried about again? If "liberals" can get their way legislatively, fine. If not, they can depend on the Judiciary to de facto make law, rather than the legislature. It's rather amusing they consider themselves liberal, however. The charade is getting a little long in the tooth.

CALL FOR GAY MARRIAGE Reinhardt was not the only judge to make a provocative speech at the ACS event. Endorsing same-sex marriage, U.S. District Court Judge Deborah Batts said traditional heterosexual marriage was a “convenient mechanism to enforce conformity ... which is where I think the religious Right would like to keep it.” Citing the 50 percent divorce rate, Batts said, “We (gays and lesbians) could show heterosexuals who marry a whole lot if we were able to take on the institution of marriage and turn it into what we know it could be. ... We can show them what marriage is really worth and what it means.”

Just look what freakazoids the Clintoons jammed into our Federal judiciary. I'm in shock and dismay
