I believe there are folks dying out there for somebody who's willing to take a stand. Dying of what? Old age?

"Robinson said he thinks he is exactly the right candidate to answer the needs of North Carolina's 5th Congressional District, and to become only the second black Republican to have served in the U.S. House of Representatives."
DJ, check out this sentence in a Fox News story on Vernon Robinson. This is the kind of ignorance that we can put to rest once and for all if Vernon Robinson and a few other black Republicans are elected to the House and Herman Cain to the Senate in 2004. As your FR homepage can attest, there have been dozens of black Republican Congressmen, including several from North Carolina (one of whom served as late as 1897---I think his last name was White). And as recently as 1997, there was Congressman Gary Franks from CT. Who does the fact-checking for Fox News, anyhow?

our troops in Iraq Possibly. Context of domestic moral issues doesn't quite match this interpretation.

You wrote "He is talking about our troops in Iraq, genius!" If you had just written, "He is talking about our troops in Iraq" that would have been fine. (I would have disagreed, but it would have been a civil dialog.)

Post 6 explains the expression."I'm fixing to" is another expression you may not be familiar with."Y'all come back" confuses some newcomers, too! It doesn't literally mean come back now..I'll be happy to interpret.
