PRAYER REQUEST FOR LBGA!
Today

Posted on 08/04/2003 6:09:31 AM PDT by Lazamataz
I've been a little worried about a Freeper friend of mine, so I've been leaving messages on her machine. Well, coming into work today, I got a message on my machine that she's in the hospital. She didn't say where, nor did she say why. She plans to call me sometime this week.
I need some prayers sent to Lynne. She's a hell of a gal, and she needs to be healed by our L-rd!

Dansangel has informed me: 'I called Atlanta Medical Ctr and was told, "The patient is an outpatient and has not been admitted yet."'
I'm not sure if that means she has a room yet or not. I'd like to find a way to send her a bouquet from fellow freepers to let her know she's in our thoughts.
dansangel, I know what it means to be outpatient. Does that mean she's still home? She seemed to be calling from a hospital room.

"Outpatient" means treatment at the hospital, but not assigned to a room. She may or may not be admitted after the treatment.
Really, Laz, what that means is we won't know anything until tomorrow. HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act) prevents any health care provider from releasing information about a patient. The privacy portion of this was enacted April 16.
The best we can do is call either tonight or tomorrow to see if she has been admitted.
Also, for Lynne's sake, we need to keep any sensitive information in FReepmails. She is a very private person and I respect that.

Prayers for Lynne, and especially that she would know we love her and are thinking of her. Thank you for checking in on her, Laz...
Father, let Lynne know that You are with her, and that we are here, with her in our thoughts and prayers. Let Your Hand be known to her, and let her see Your Face. Guide the hands of those seeking to heal her, and let their hearts seek the true benefit of their patients. Let those who care for her see her needs, and fill them. In Jesus Name, I call on You, Who told me to...

I'll remain quiet about her particulars, but should we share room number so people can send flowers and stuff or should we appoint one person who already knows to do it?

Appointing one person sounds like a plan. Otherwise, she may be overwhelmed. Then, she'd kill us all - LOL! She's going to kill us when she sees this, as is.

God can and does work miracles when there seems no earthly hope. Thoughts and prayers going her way. God only knows how many prayers have gone up for my family over the last couple of years.

And balloons. That is what our daughter wants when she is in the hospital. What is more cheerful than a bouquet of brightly colored balloons?

I'll add her to my list. If she allows you to tell us what the illness is, please let us know. If she doesn't want to I would respect her wishes. But prayer are going up for her every day. I know that prayers are answered.
