Marilyn Manson has a foetus in a jar on his coffee table. The unborn baby is preserved in formaldehyde and takes pride of place in the crazy rocker's living room. The eccentric singer's girlfriend, fetish artist Dita Von Teese, gave him the child as a gift. He said: "I have a beautiful morbid gift from Dita - it's an unborn child in a jar. I called it Ludwig Von Manson."
a lyric from one of his songs:
"Disposable Teens" has a line in it that goes something like, "I'm a teen distortion, survived abortion..."
Don't let your children listen to hard rock, rapper Eminem or watch MTV.

Are there not laws against possesing human remains? There was that med student that got busted for having human torso, legs, arms and even a head. Couldn't Marilyn Manson be in trouble for having this sort of thing?

"Are there not laws against possesing human remains?" You would have to convince the courts that a human is in that jar, and not "unviable tissue mass" or "fetus". Good luck trying... a few million people in the country would be glad to see you pull it off.

I hope so, this way they can lock him up so he can no longer poison the minds of children and may adopt a culture of life. He and his girlfriend are spitting in the eye of God for doing what they do to his child and image. Devil and Satan worship is a big problem throughout the world.
But, as we all know, he's a celebrity who is above the law.

I have always thought this about myself. And now, unfortunately, I see I will have to live in the future. I didn't like the looks of this back at the World's Fair.

Every generation of rockers has to work harder than the one before to get that cheap "shock appeal" that teens want. 1950 Elvis swung his hips, then Ozzy bit off a bat head, Mike Jackson had his nose sharpened and now some dude with girl's name keeps a fetus in a jar on his coffee table.
What I find shocking is a rocker actually has a coffee table. How bourgeiose.
To: Coleus
If it was a dog, cat or owl fetus....the Libs would be in uproar....disgusting.

It is...though it certainly is morbid, I wonder if something like this could also honestly provoke pro-life thoughts.
Seeing the remains of an unborn child may force some people to face the reality of just what abortion is actually involves. Consider why abortion supporters are always trying to cloak the issue in deceptive euphemisms.
I doubt MM is actually a closet pro-lifer, though he did, IIRC, support Bush 43 publically.
To: Coleus
Not suprising. Manson is all image and no talent. At least Ozzy had songs people actually liked. This guy must keep doing sicker and sicker things as a means of selling records, because his music just plain sucks.

"Look at me, I'm Marilyn Manson and I'm soooo outrageous and bizarre I have a fetus in a jar." Give me a break. This clown deserves to be ignored--just like he was all through highschool.

Manson has fallen out of the headlines the last few years. I suspect this is a ruse to get some attention. I doubt it's real.

Let's hope so.
Even if it is false, I'd say it's a rather sadistic and sick way of getting publicity.
