California Governor May Sign She/Male Bill And Pagan AIDS Memorial Bill

Date: Friday, August 01 @ 12:18:22 CDT

Topic: Homosexual Agenda

Summary:The California Assembly and Senate have pushed through legislation that promotes cross-dressing and transsexualism in business hiring practices. The pro-homosexual Assembly has also inserted $400,000 into the state budget for the building of a pagan memorial in honor of those who have died of AIDS.

Homosexuals and their She/Male (transgender) allies have succeeded in getting a Transsexual Employment Bill (AB 196) passed in the California State Senate and Assembly. In the Senate, the vote was 23-11.

AB 196, if signed by Governor Gray Davis (who faces an historic state recall election on October 7, 2003), will fine businesses $150,000 if they "discriminate" against cross-dressers and transsexuals in hiring practices. The bill requires school districts, child day care facilities, and businesses (including for-profit religious organizations), to hire men who may wish to come to work wearing dresses. It makes it illegal to "discriminate" against someone based upon their own perception of themselves as either male or female.

TVC's California lobbyist Ben Lopez has said: "The eyes of the country are on California. And with the recall [of Davis] hanging over him, it would be suicide for Gray Davis to sign such offensive legislation into law. If this type of smut is Gray Davis's idea of California, then the nation will watch as we Californians send him packing."

The California State Assembly has also just snuck in a $400,000 budget item that will finance the building of an AIDS memorial in the shape of the pagan Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. The proposal had been removed but was quietly inserted back into an appropriations bill (AB 1765) without the knowledge of conservative legislators.

The pagan AIDS memorial has been promoted by lesbian activist legislator Jackie Goldberg, who is on the Assembly's joint budget committee. She is also a leader in the Gay and Lesbian Caucus.

WTF? Wouldn't this amount to the California Republic recognizing Paganism as the state religion? NO STATE FUNDS FOR "Religion".

Paganism sucks.

If they were on the Titanic they would gather up all the lifeboats, put the lifeboats on the deck, set them on fire and hold some sort of pagan ceremony praying for deliverance.

Kiss as many rings as you can before the polling date, Mr. Davis. You're gonna need to.

Oh, grow-up! After all, the entire nation had to endure the clintons and their "clown-college" entourage, for eight years! Explain that! If you think that you're immune from this disease, tell me what state you're from, and we'll compare notes!

That's pathetic. I'd never hire a guy that wears a dress to work. Period. It's a disruption.

You really have to live here to believe what's going on. What a place! I just got back from a road trip through a bunch of the Mountain States, and it really hit me how bad California is. Those other states are full of normal people.

New Hampshire... and even we've been tainted by the metastasized cancer that is Cali.

I think this quote says it perfectly: "I think most Californians could think of much better uses for that money than building a monument to dead homosexuals and IV drug users in the form of a pagan god once worshipped with human sacrifice." The whole thing strikes me as bizarre. I wonder how the MeCHA/La Raza people feel about this - aren't they big on Aztec mythology? And yes, replace the Aztec god with a cross and see how far you get... But I disagree that paganism sucks - it looks like a lot of fun...until you die, anyway. :)

All the people living around the park has been protesting this, but are being ignored. I guess it's more important to pander to homosexuals, than your own constituents.

The point is not the paganism part, the point is the homosexual agenda. If they erect memorials in a park for AIDS, where are the memorials for people who died of heart disease, stroke and cancer? Why does having AIDS make people "heroes"?!

The state is broke, but they have money for things like this, which the people who live around the park object to.

Don't people in CA go to court to try to overturn these asinine laws or do they just figure "the law is the law" and that's that?

Yup. All told, I'd wager this state is 62% Leftist, judging solely by the ratio of 20 Republican congressional representatives out of 53 total. And hell, most of those Republicans are RINOs.

Rale all you like, Golden State Freepers, but your state is a disease...

No argument from me. And I live by Los Angeles. The whole state is a stinking cesspool. That's why my wife and I are moving out of this pit. No way in hell I'll subject my children to the mediocracy that's lauded as "progressive education" here...

Most people here just don't give a s---. That's but one of the reasons why we needed Darrel Issa to keep the recall afloat.

I always thought the "separation of church and state" crowd was a bit, um, biased. Here's the proof of their hypocrisy.

I'll rail against California bashing, and misspelt words too. Our soon to be ejected state leaders are a disease, not the state itself.
