Howard Dean, Democratic candidate for President of the U.S. whose emergence as a major contender in the past month is the talk of the campaign, will make an appearance in the City of Falls Church on Saturday, Aug. 23. Dean will appear at a rally in Cherry Hill Park from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Virginia legislature voted to move up the date of the Virginia primary election to Feb. 10 next year, making it among the earliest, and the earliest for a southern state.

Such difficulty--should I join "Republicans for Sharpton" or "Republicans for Dean" during the primary?

Thanks for letting us know. Dean's supposed to be in Alexandria later that evening to kick off another media campaign. Should be a fun day!

my teenaged daughter makes reference to the dang earthwatchers in Falls Church. the Falls Church News Press is ridiculously, unabashedly leftwing. oh it is just so appropriate that he would be there for this. My kids go to St James, literally a block down the street from Cherry Hill Park. School will be starting that following monday.
