Militants beat 9-year-old girl to death in Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU: In a gruesome act, Pakistani militants on Friday beat a nine-year-old girl to death and critically injured her 11-year old sister in Rajouri hills in Jammu and Kashmir.

A group of Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HUJI) militants entered the house of Nisar Hussain in Khabala village of Thanamandi and on not finding him caught hold of his two daughters, police sources said.

They beat the two girls with gun buts to extract information about their father.

One of them Nazia, who received serious head injury died on the spot while Shareefa was critically wounded.

The villagers who assembled after the incident rushed the injured girl to hospital.

A major combing operation has been launched in the entire forest belt to track down the militants, the sources said.

If he had a young son the same age there, I doubt they would have beat the boy -- women are useful for only two things in their world (sex -- if she is an infidel) and child bearing (if she brings forth a boy). Otherwise keep her under wraps and a prisoner/slave in her own home -- a piece of property to be discarded later (no matter how high and mighty they try to portray their "respect" for them).

Please define "these kind of people". I'm sure the family who had their daughter killed are not worthy of anything, right? Please don't use a story about the killing of innocents to promote your agenda. IT makes you look barbaric.
