ARNOLD IS OUT: SEVEN FOR SAVAGE! [CA Gov Race]

Posted on 07/29/2003 1:29:24 PM PDT by Arthur Wildfire! March

Ok Freepers. Arnold is not going to terminate Gray-out Dufus. That means: who else but Savage? I don't know about you guys, but I could care less about Huffington. And CA needs strong, Savage medicine. I don't care what state you are from. I'm not from California either. But I'm pledging a minimum of $7 to the Savage campaign if he runs. Please join me in pledging a minimum of $7 to the Savage campaign if Mike Savage runs for Governor of CA. At the very least, he will veer the debate to the right, not only in CA but all across the US.

And, Savage stands a better chance than others might think. Just imagine how happy Boortz and Hannity would be, for example, if Savage needs to get out of talk radio to run the state of CA. Imagine the stature of talk radio hosts if they are potential political heavyweights. They will be motivated to support Savage for a variety of reasons.

We all make jokes about California. It was prettymuch a shoe-in for 'armpit of America'. But we are willing to help the state out.

Dream on. Savage lacks the tack and judgement to win an election. I am a lifetime conservative, and I wouldn't vote for Savage. He just doesn't have the ability to govern.

Didn't Huffington annouce he was coming out of the closet at the same time he and Ariana (separatedly) became Democrats?

Could be Vodka. Mike's not running - he'd have to give up his radio radio show during the campaign. He's said in the past he won't run for office - he's not cut out for it.

May be a good move by him for a promotion of himself and to perhaps get more work being he lost some stations, but I wouldn't even elect him as dog catcher.

So, your saying that the prospect of getting Michael Savage out of radio should be reason enough to make him governor?

Frankly, Huffington can fly all over CA for all I care. 'Planes are going there anyway.'

Savage would have to give up his radio show (equal time law) and he'll never do that. He'll tease that he might run, but he's full of it.

No, I'm saying that his fellow radio hosts have a multitude of reasons to help him.

Michael Savage will be colorful. He won't care about political consultants, paid handlers, or the liberal media. He'll say on the campaign trail exactly what he thinks. Its gonna be fun!

I guess being married to Arianna Huffington would be enough to turn any man gay.

What's the harm in pledging 7? If he doesn't run, you don't give a dime. I have that negative potential covered.

He would be every bit as colorful and a laughing stock as Jesse Ventura.

Yes, I support Savage 100% and I would love to see him as my new governor.

However, it would be sad to see him leave radio for the next six years or so. Since November 2002 I've listened to him nearly three hours a day every day (that's all he demands) <---Only Hannity listeners will get that one ;)

I don't like it when people from other states mess with South Carolina elections and I will never try to influence the vote in another state. There should be a law.

There's no way Savage could even consider political triangulation since everyone already knows where he stands. Besides, he doesn't strike me as the triangulating type. FReegards....
