SUMMER RECESS! Congress is about to take it's annual summer recess! Please contact your elected reps offices this week, ask them to inform you of the time and place for any upcoming "Town Hall Meeting" or other public forum your reps will be holding. This is your chance to talk with them IN PERSON, one of the most effective contacts possible.
It appears that many bills, good and bad, are not going to be resolved until after the summer recess. This may be our best opportunity to press our views on avariety of subjects, as the end of the session nears getting heard will become more difficult.
Please find and attend these forums to be heard!
This is important, even if your rep is an Anti-constitution liberal, as you do not want them to be able to claim that no-one objects to their agenda!

And time for some recess appointments if the nuke option has a damp fuse.

The nuke option is still in play, IMO. But the Dems are killing themselves right now -- why should we stop them by handing them an issue to bash us with?
