Just a sad stroll down memory lane... Sad, maybe, yet what wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing them with us! Each such thing we hear about just makes him that much more special.
Don't be sad. Bob Hope lived a long, wonderful life. I'm sure his life was just as touched by the people he met as theirs were from meeting him. He's in a wonderful place now, reunited with his old friends....and probably putting on a Heavenly USO Show! :-)
