Litmus Test (on Deaths of Saddam's Sons)
Eject! Eject! Eject! ^ | July 22, 2003 | Bill Whittle

Two of the most malignant and cruel mass murderers, rapists and torturers to ever walk the Earth have departed the planet — and the Left sneers.

There was a time — I can remember it clearly, though it seems a lifetime ago — when “liberals” were people who fought for humanity and human rights, people who despised murder and torture. Now, wherever we look, the people who call themselves the most “liberal” seem to be the sole remaining defenders of murder, rape, and torture.

What the hell has happened to those people?

I was very happy today when I heard the news that these two murdering bastards have been wiped off the face of the Earth. This is a great victory in the ongoing battle in Iraq, and it is more than that. It is a victory for the Iraqi people, a victory for all those children buried with their dolls in shallow graves. It is a victory for the 300,000 unmarked graves, for the unidentified skulls with a single bullet hole in the back of the head. It is a victory for justice, and ultimately, it was a day of redemption and above all decency, for what meaning can decency and justice have will monsters of that ilk still walked the Earth with impunity?

I was happy to hear that they had plenty of time to realize they were trapped, that they were about to die a violent death. I do not credit either of them with the intelligence or basic humanity to realize that this was exactly the feeling that so many untold thousands of their victims had, facing electrodes and acid baths and industrial shredders in blood-soaked basements. It took four hours to resolve the action. I hope they were terrified for every eternal second of them.

As I said, I was happy. I was happy when the Death Star exploded. I did not question whether or not it would have been more appropriate to send C3PO in with a warrant to arrest Darth Vader.

Ha ha! Parody! Right?

I wish. Some people are beyond parody these days. Is there no shame, none whatsoever, for someone who would take the side of these murderers and torturers just to take a shot at their own country and its duly elected leader? Is there no depths to which these people can sink?

None?

I am angry. And when I get angry I want to write an essay. And I will.

That was excellent. Couldn't have said it better myself. A job well done.

That's because they dont exist anymore...they have been hollowed out from the inside by other ideolgies and doctrine and taken over by an entirely different entities. The only memory of what they once were is the thin veneer of shill personas...

The same thing is happening to Republicans- imo

The basic premise is off base:

"Liberals" have never been any more or less compassionate than conservatives.

In fact the overthrow of monarchies, rise of unions, and the explosion of state sponosored hand-outs were all accompanied by violence. Violence ultimately against people.

Liberals in today's market are merely supporters of centralized and all encompassing state power. Their ideology is control and their means of control is the same bread and circuses that's been used throughout history.

It is still a debate between individual and group rights, individual and group responsibility, and ultimately the value of the individual versus that of the state.

If the trains are on time and the people don't riot too often, if the states affairs are in the hands of a suitable elite - liberals are content. Take a look at California today, the trains are literally off the tracks and the left is NOT trying to fix anything - only fighting to keep their elite in control.

All the gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes over Uday and Quasai, quagmires, and cowboys, is a reaction to potential loss of control - just that.

Miss Hitlery and Billy Blythe trashed the Democratic party. And they are still in charge of the trashy remnants.I'm waiting for the brave, honorable Democrats to step forward, reclaim their party, and make it compassionate again.

Mind you...
These are presumed human beings who would have agonized about doing anything about Hitler. Stalin. Pol Pot. Idi Amin. Emperor Bokassa.

They can shrug and say "it's none of our business" with a straight face and still call themselves human.
Read any newspaper.

What the hell has happened to those people?

One hundred years ago they began bathing in blood, and found it to their liking.

The more innocent the blood, apparently, the better.
