He was asking Senator Dick Durbin about our reasons for going to war against Iraq, if WMD and nuclear weapons were a real threat or if it was just "bullshit". I couldn't believe it! It came through on my TV loud and clear. And Matthews never skipped a beat or paused after he said it. He probably doesn't even realize he said it! Me thinks this uranium "flap" is going to cause Chrissy to have a heart attack or something. I seriously think he needs counseling because he refuses to let this story go.... hes obsessed with it. Someone needs to tell him to get over it and move on!

I agree. He has been like a Doberman on this story. He sunk his teeth into this story and won't turn loose, until hopefully they cancel the show. It will get embarrassing if everyone else has moved on and he is still harping about it. A few more days like yesterday and events will render this totally trumped up story obsolete.

I believe I've heard that word on broadcast television. I'm sure the FCC doesn't care about cable.
To: ejdrapes
No Chris, anything you say is BS.
Glad to clear that up.

Some people are born irrelevant, some grow into it. Matthews has greatly exceeded his birthright.
Is this fool still on the air?????

"I had to "move on" myself, back over to FOXNews" So funny! And I know just what you mean. But I've got to tell you...for the past few days, we've been roughing it in a lakeside cabin....cable tv only has FOXNews and CNN, and I've actually missed MSNBC. I really wanted to see what verbal flatulence Chris Mathews would spew over Saddam's sons.

I really wanted to see what verbal flatulence Chris Mathews would spew over Saddam's sons.Well, he waited 15 minutes yesterday before he deigned to discuss that story. Just GUESS what he thought merited the first slot of his show? Yes! Cheney, Scooter, Condi, all conspiring to lie to us. I stayed just out of fascination. He did the Uday and Qusay story after that, then a brief Kobe Bryant segment and then the last 20 minutes was right back to "Nee jur".
I'm glad I made you laugh and the cabin sounds great---a little "getting away from it all".

Why does he "Spew his vile hatred of Bush" and you are simply supporting the President?Because President Bush is worth supporting.

OLBERMANN 0.4Looks like the same few people turn their TVs on to MSNBC and just leave it there, like a nightlight.

On the east coast he's up against The Fox Report. It must kill him to get his butt kicked by Shep Smith.

You've completely lost me. Look at his face, his eyes -- he's fuming. I don't see an objective reporter; I see a crazed lunatic who's gone wild from the smell of blood in the water. He thinks he's latched onto an issue that has real legs, and he's running it into the ground, because he apparently loves to have a hand in the destruction of a Presidency.
