OK, FReepers! It's time we took the fight to them!
Today | RandallFlagg

This is not bashing Free Republic.com, nor it is bashing members here. On the contrary, this place is one of the best sites for news, information and opinions on the web.

But, to be honest, sticking around here and chatting amongst ourselves is just preaching to the choir. We need to go on the offensive.

I've been going to the Metallica.com message boards and raising hell in what I call, "Hostile Territory". I haven't turned many to our side, but I have educated many. It's really a challenge. Others have probably been doing this for a while now.

I think we need to do more of this. We should find any site with a forum that has any threads that say things like, "Bush Sucks," or, "America imperialist killers," or the like. I'm starting this thread to try and make a place that we FReepers can use to gather and consolidate our sources and facts. Also we can use it as a place to bring up arguments that are just so silly and childish, that they should be read and laughed at by others.

I, for one, am sick of being on the defensive all the time. So, I crush all the lies with facts gathered on the web and all the conservative books I own. If more of us did the same, we'd be an even stronger force to be reckoned with..

Remember the rules of the other forums, debate with dignity and logic. Expect to be banned from these sites sometimes.

Our President said, "Bring it on." This is what I'm doing.

Good luck!

Sometimes I think liberal posters are pulled a bit too quickly here. Sometimes I feel that we don't give Freepers an opportunity to demolish whatever things they might say.

However, it is Jim Rob's board, and of course it is his to do what he wants.

I have found this to be a waste of my precious time as it rarely changes a lib's mind. You have to understand the first reality. Liberals are born with 10 tongues and 10 sets of lungs and ingrown ears as they only hear themselves. You cut off one of their tongues and it quickly grows back and with additional sets of lungs. Dangerous stuff. Best bet is to beat them to the punch at there own game. ROAR lol

I know, but it's just SO fun to make them bury themselves with their own words. When I get off work, I'll post an example of this...

I just went in as E Rocc. If you've got anti-war lefties there, consider posting the lyrics to Don't Tread On Me. I would but time is tight lately.

I know about that. Here it is, 5 days later, and I finally got around to replying to ya. Sorry.

Check out these three threads. I'm getting into it badly over here. These libs never seem to want to answer any questions...

California. Dems caught on tape plotting to worsen economy!

Letter #2 from Iraq. Pretty damn good, too!

I'm over here as Randall_Flagg. THIS IS FUN!!!

But it was an "Illegal" war, so the kids should go back to prison, right?

Thanks a lot.

I've decided to make a page with all of this stuff. I pinged those who I thought might have an idea how to make a place for all of us, but to no avail. It might take a bit of time, but every link placed on here will be put on the page. I'll keep a log of the page's status as I can -it shouldn't take TOO long, but I'm going to do my best.

Keep the links coming!

I think more time and energy effective per vote produced

MIGHT

be to AT LEAST FIRST

TARGET

3-7 PERSONAL NETWORK MIDDLE OF THE ROADERS WHO'D BE LIKELY TO VOTE her unroyal lowness, her hideous heinous--Bwitch Shrillery Antoinette de Fosterizer de Marx de Kevorkian de Sade

AND TURN THE BUGGERS to voting for conservatives.

IF we do our jobs well, THEY could in turn, turn some other before election day.

BUT FOR A LOT OF REASONS, WE NEED TO DO SO IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. It will be much harder as positions get hardened closer to the election.

ALONG THESE LINES . . .

PLEASE, FOLKS, TUNE IN AND GIVE ME FEEDBACK ON THIS . . .

I BELIEVE STRONGLY WE NEED

(A) THE FREEPCARDS--3 X 5 CARDS WITH SHRILLERY SKULLDUGGERY ON THEM

(B) GRADUATED PACKETS STRATEGICALLY SEQUENCED . . . OF

(1) 7-12 ONE PAGE DOCUMENTS OF AN EXECUTIVE SUMMARY SORT FOR THE SUPER BUSY AND SUPER RELUCTANT TO READ MORE THAN A PAGE.

(2) 7-12 2-3 PAGE DOCUMENTS FOR THOSE WE CAN GET TO READ A BIT MORE

(3) 3-5 3-7 PAGE DOCUMENTS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN MORE MEAT WITH LINKS TO ONLINE EXTENSIVE DOCUMENTATION.

I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET SUCH STUFF TOGETHER AND NOW I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO IT MYSELF WITH A PART TIME FACULTY THING STARTING UP ON TOP OF ALL THE OTHER STUFF.

WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO HELP IN COMPILING SUCH A PROJECT FROM ALL THE MASSIVE INFO AVAILABLE???

IT'S NOT a lack of resources or info IMHO.

It's getting it into a form that the middle of the roaders will actually read and consider.

And perhaps presenting it to them in an individually tailored sequence.

And how and where to get the digest versions together is still a question.

Thanks for the heads up!

My only suggestion is to ask one of the brilliant artists around here to come up with a really catchy logo - like the one Registered came up with for the recount, the "Sore Loserman logo."

People must remember simple logos better than anything (hence the advertisers put so much money in them.)

Get a logo like that and make it the centerpiece of any other facts you want to present. Just seeing it over and again will have an impact and stir up curiosity IMHO.

Hey, folks!

I'm working on the consolidation as I can. I want you to take a peek at it and tell me what you think. I've christened it...

T h e A r s e n a l

She's in her infancy and I don't have much there right yet. There will be categories and subsections containing quotes and out-of-circulation articles. If you throw more stuff on this thread, I'll get them up as fast as I can.

Thank you all so much for your participation and assistance.

I do something similar on an "Off-Topic" forum on a car board. There were a bunch of Leftie Communists posting all kinds of ugly stuff, and now there are about 5-6 of us opposing them. I'm the only FReeper.

I'm also about to participate in my second FReep tomorrow.

Use this thread and what I have in The Arsenal to throw facts at them. They tend to sulk away and dissapear after time.
