OK, FReepers! It's time we took the fight to them!

This is not bashing Free Republic.com, nor it is bashing members here. On the contrary, this place is one of the best sites for news, information and opinions on the web.

But, to be honest, sticking around here and chatting amongst ourselves is just preaching to the choir. We need to go on the offensive.

I've been going to the Metallica.com message boards and raising hell in what I call, "Hostile Territory". I haven't turned many to our side, but I have educated many. It's really a challenge. Others have probably been doing this for a while now.

I think we need to do more of this. We should find any site with a forum that has any threads that say things like, "Bush Sucks," or, "America imperialist killers," or the like. I'm starting this thread to try and make a place that we FReepers can use to gather and consolidate our sources and facts. Also we can use it as a place to bring up arguments that are just so silly and childish, that they should be read and laughed at by others.

I, for one, am sick of being on the defensive all the time. So, I crush all the lies with facts gathered on the web and all the conservative books I own. If more of us did the same, we'd be an even stronger force to be reckoned with..

Remember the rules of the other forums, debate with dignity and logic. Expect to be banned from these sites sometimes.

What you say is correct, and the attempt to engage in dialogue is a worthy goal, but there is also an element of futility, as evidenced by some attampts at such by freepers on this thread:

I've been hammering away in the Metallica forums for four-five months now. When I started, I was outnumbered four-to-one by liberal antiwar nuts. As of now, it's around 55-45 in my favor.

Using FR's search engine, Rush's stack of stuff, good google wordings and the great links folks have posted on this thread, I've been able to crush almost every argument they could throw at me.

I'm gaining considerable ground on them.

Thanks for the bother of your exhortation.

I enjoy all such.

My credibility has never been off the charts except with folks who know me well.

And, I’ve observed that folks with a certain kind of heart for truth . . . manage to either be attracted to/by such or ignore such.

I realize it is annoying to a number of folks.

I am certainly NOT one size fits all.

And, actually, I tend to have more FREEPMAILS telling me they ENJOY such Quixications than annoyed with them.
