OK, FReepers! It's time we took the fight to them!

This is not bashing Free Republic.com, nor it is bashing members here. On the contrary, this place is one of the best sites for news, information and opinions on the web.

But, to be honest, sticking around here and chatting amongst ourselves is just preaching to the choir. We need to go on the offensive.

I've been going to the Metallica.com message boards and raising hell in what I call, "Hostile Territory". I haven't turned many to our side, but I have educated many. It's really a challenge. Others have probably been doing this for a while now.

I think we need to do more of this. We should find any site with a forum that has any threads that say things like, "Bush Sucks," or, "America imperialist killers," or the like. I'm starting this thread to try and make a place that we FReepers can use to gather and consolidate our sources and facts. Also we can use it as a place to bring up arguments that are just so silly and childish, that they should be read and laughed at by others.

I, for one, am sick of being on the defensive all the time. So, I crush all the lies with facts gathered on the web and all the conservative books I own. If more of us did the same, we'd be an even stronger force to be reckoned with..

Remember the rules of the other forums, debate with dignity and logic. Expect to be banned from these sites sometimes.

Our President said, "Bring it on." This is what I'm doing.

It's getting bloody over at the Metallica boards. The mods flushed all the posts today and told me to stop posting "Political threads."

But all the "America Sucks" and the, "Bush is a terrorist" threads seem fine with them -go figure!

They haven't banned me yet, though!

Admirable, Randall! My advice for every conservative in the fight is to quietly convert one person every year or two. If we all did that,our numbers would grow dramatically.

I have a good friend who years ago was a communist, and now he is more conservative than I am! I hope I had some influence in that direction and growth.

I have a good friend, her daughter is mulatto. She is a GREAT kid and I love her a lot! Anyway, she is in junior high and the education system is bent on creating a victim mentality in her. I have taken special attention to tell her that I belive in her, and that she can do anything. I have helped her develop some business ideas that she has been sucessful with! She is an entrepeneurial kid and likes to make money! :-) I combat the victim mentality she is exposed to in school vigorously, and expose her to both sides of arguments and modern topics. She is religous and does volunteer work, so her heart is in the right place.

We were watching the news once when they were visiting me and she said 'This newsguy stinks! He isn't being fair to President Bush!!!!!'

I have a good point to add here for anyone else who's still taking on the opposition: When they bring up all the "Scandals" about Bush, try asking the leftists this:

If all of these scandals and charges about Bush are true and reliable, why hasn't the 9 democrat presidential wannabes mentioned them even ONCE during their half-dozen plus debates? Those debates were nothing more than a bash-Bush-festival. Why weren't those items you posted mentioned by them?

I miss the newsmax forum too. I think the owners didn't have the stomach to put up with all of the flame wars there, but it was really a great place at one time. Too bad.

Great idea HM. One person can make a difference.

I, personally, have been waging a one man war against ABC News, and it's frequent lies and spin, particularly, the late nite (early morning) rainbow coalition band of leftist liberal communist anti-americans who run the place (starting with the Nightline shift).

I like to think I have done some good, in challenging their lies, as I have seen many of the most viscious, leftist liars disappear from their TV appearances, after some of my exposure of their lies.

I don't win them all, and sometimes it takes a while, continuing to hit them. One technique I have noticed is that sometimes, they bring on substitutes for promulgating the most viscious lies ), like notice the way Ted Kopple (nightline) seems to regularly be absent for some of nightline's really far leftist lies.

Asha Blake (ABC world news now) was one who I hounded off of ABC, so that she went to NBC Los Angeles local, and I think she is finally gone to obscurity from NBC now too.

That one made me particularly happy since she had just bought an apartment to stay permanently in NYC. It took me about 2 1/2 months, after I started, and she had been permanently in the position for 2 years at that tiime, but they changed their whole format on WNN.

Don't forget looking for those 3 missing Iraqi ships, which were sailing around in circles for 3 months, after Bush2 challenged Sadaam to show his weapons. They quietly 'disappeared', not long before the Iraq war, and personally, I think they have the WMDs, and are now sitting at the bottom of the Indian ocean.

I was fighting the good fight in the central chat room at Teachers.net until I got banned. Some creep called me a name and I responded with overwhelming force, he complained to the mods and I was history.

Some of those "teachers" really scare the hell outta me to know that they're in constant contact with our children. Good luck
