the leftist spin is that we killed two human beings, and the rejoicing being done is inseemly in light of our brutal murder of these two highly placed members of the iraqi government.

they mourn ALL deaths...(except, of course conservatives and republicans)

Maybe Rangle can go over and perform the eulogy at their wake... sounds more like the DEMS are losing their 'issues' one by one, and are left crawling through broken glass to find a new one.

A caller to Hannity's 5 second deal, at the ends of his show, said Bill Press from CNN was saying the 2 guys (Uday and Qusay) were murdered. I didn't hear Bill Press say it. Did anyone else? This has bothered me ever since I heard it.

Gee Charlie... aren't you reading the news?

A firefight for four hours does not constitute assassination!

The members of the 82nd Airborne also used a bullhorn to ask for their surrender. Ouday and Smouday (*grins*) responded by opening up on American soldiers.

Sounds pretty clear cut to me!

It will be interesting to hear the comments for the next few days. I think you're on to something here.

paraphrased - "So we got a couple of thugs....what is the big deal....I think the real story here is that it is a violation of law to target world leaders for assination."

Assassination. 1. I thought that was an executive (ha ha) order. 2. Since when are Udai and Qusai "world leaders"?

I can picture that real soon the left is going to scream we used too much inhuman firepower against those two brothers. We even took out a child in the process. This is a spin waiting to happen. Just wait.

What more can be expected from a member of the Democratic socialist party? Ouday and Qusay are gonesay and it's just more than hand wringing socialists can stand.

Hollyweird has been denied two prospective super stars. Now all that's left to them is writing heroic songs and ballads about the pair.

Some reports are coming in they are still alive and a taped message purporting to be from them taped after the shootout has shown up but there's a quote I thought belonged here. It's below.

Iraq's former ambassador to the United Nations, Mohammad Al-Douri, told Al Arabiya he was sure it was Saddam's sons voices, adding, I always felt bad for those two, especially the handicapped one, that they never really got a chance to get out much and enjoy the country, given all their responsibilities running the Mukahabarat and the Fedayeen Saddam.

Wonderful. I hope his comments get wide, wide airplay. Everytime they do, the idiots at DU get all happy and think they are "defining" themselves to greater America. And America will have it shoved in their face more and more how out of touch the Democratic party is.

I think I will use that comment next time I discuss the war with a Democrat.

And if they agree, they are probably hard line socialists anyway and hopeless.

Just let them have rope, let them hang themselves. I hope Rush plays that quote today.

It's against the law to target world leaders for assassination? That was an executive order issued by Carter, I think. Didn't I hear that President Bush wisely issued an executive order overriding the previous executive order? Charlie needs to get his facts straight.

This morning's Centcom briefing had a rude question from a BBC reporter on why we didn't wait them out, capture them, how much more valuable they would be alive, etc., etc. The general's answer was that the orders were to kill or capture and the onsite commander did just that. The BBC guy tried to argue the point and the general said "Next question".

BTW, ABC (of all networks) last night had an hour special on how really, really bad these guys were: Torture, murder, mass killings, rape, etc. These reporters should be forced to listen to this show before they ask their silly questions about how rough the Americans are on the Iraqis.
