MSNBC: Alleged (Kobe Byrant) Victim seen bragging at a party 3 days later

I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.

They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)

The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.

When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.

I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.

This just keeps getting better and better...

Trying to make the point that some posters saying that is just run of the mill activity is beyond the pale.

There is no evidence that happened in this particular case, but you'll notice that some think a rape charge still wouldn't be warranted if it did.

the little money hungry hussie already has a plaintiffs attorney. She hired the plaintiff's attorney before Kobe was ever charged. It's about the $$.

How do you know that? And if that's true, how do you know Kobe's people didn't approach her with a settlement offer? How long before Kobe was charged? Is it unreasonable that she would expect the charge, and simply hired an attorney in expectation?

I think that if a woman agreed to have vaginal intercourse with a man and that man forced her to have anal intercourse, that is rape. As a juror, I would have no problem convicting on those facts. Consent for some things is not consent for everything.

If she were devious enough to pull off this frolic on the sheets in order to get in Bryants pocketbook, why would she do something stoopid like this?

Given the current state of education in this country, and the fact that criminals as a rule are not the sharpest knives in the drawer (usually), it is totally believable that she would try to scam this, and not be able to keep from bragging about it. At 19 years old, she probably hasn't got the smarts it takes to pull of a successful scam.

Personally, I think she's after money. I've heard that she has tried this before....

I tend to agree that she is not a professional grifter by any means... but I suspect a flim flam of some nature.

Maybe the 911 incidents that have been sealed reflect something about a prior incident of the same nature? Either more suicide attempts or she cried rape in the past?
