MSNBC: Alleged (Kobe Byrant) Victim seen bragging at a party 3 days later

I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.

They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)

The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.

When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.

I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.

This just keeps getting better and better...

You've got that right. Their concept of "friendship" appears to be partying together and covering up for each other -- at least until a better deal comes along.

I did not believe Kobe before, but I am beginning to have doubts about this girl.

Quite frankly, she is a slut.

She also does not appear to have moral character of any sort.

And if this is true, which it likely is due to the number of confirming witnesses, Kobe is telling the truth: it was not rape, just sex.

The girls name and address were posted on the web yesterday. The lawyers got the post removed for one thing.

Oh really, why do you believe them? According to other posts, "friends" are being offered big money to trash the girl. I once had the unfortunate experience to be the victim of lockeroom talk in high school. I didn't sleep with the guy, but he claimed I did and so did six of his dear friends. I was called a slut until my Dad got wind of it and had a come to Jesus meeting with the boys involved. They fessed up in a heartbeat. Of course, I didn't have many dates after the story got out; my Dad and my three large brothers scared off potential dates.

Look, I don't know if Kobe is guilty or not. I will wait for the trial. I just don't think it is right that this girl is automatically assumed to be a liar, a whore, a slut, or a mental case. Stop blaming the victim. You have no evidence she is not telling the truth.

He doesn't have to. The prosecution has to prove he did with the evidence, including physical evidence we haven't seen yet.

Kobe lied last week before the charges were brought to the LA Times.

My take on that is he was probably trying to work out a settlement with the girl and her family. If a settlement had taken place he would have been able to say nothing happend and she would have had to refrain from commenting. But I don't see anything nefarious about it.
