I once had the unfortunate experience to be the victim of lockeroom talk in high school. I didn't sleep with the guy, but he claimed I did and so did six of his dear friends. I was called a slut until my Dad got wind of it and had a come to Jesus meeting with the boys involved. They fessed up in a heartbeat. Of course, I didn't have many dates after the story got out; my Dad and my three large brothers scared off potential dates.

Look, I don't know if Kobe is guilty or not. I will wait for the trial. I just don't think it is right that this girl is automatically assumed to be a liar, a whore, a slut, or a mental case. Stop blaming the victim. You have no evidence she is not telling the truth.
