The Democrats are so used to being misled by their own leaders that they can't believe that anyone else could be just stating the truth. There's nothing misleading about those 16 words, unless one is incapable of understanding the meaning of is.

You heard what FOX did - right ..?? After they had spent the day re-running the 2 latest hit ads on Bush for free (as news) .. it was announced FOX had done some checking and found out the dems were only spending $45,000 to run the ad in D.C. and NY markets. FOX opted not to run the ads as news anymore.

Of course, the ads weren't news to begin with - but at least FOX realized they were being USED TO RUN THE AD FOR NO DOLLARS.

The simple response is 30-second television spots to counter this. It's important to counter the charges, portray Bush as a trustworthy leader, and Democrats as anti-war malcontents who never supported the war and are now polishing Saddam's image. We'll see if the RNC is smart enough to actually use its financial advantage to counter the generally shrewder DNC.

How typical of the Rats to run a chopped-up out of context quote in order to deceive people about what Bush was really saying.

And on top of that to make a completely false claim about Bush's warning it was an "imminent threat"...when in fact Bush said it was not an imminent threat....yet.

If the Republicans don't run a counter-ad, or find some way to expose the deceit and dishonesty of the Dems in this attack on Bush, then they will be partially to blame if people believe these lies.

Well, they're starting out in the right market, anyway. People in Madison will eat this garbage up with a spoon. The video was sent in an email to the Dim masses directly (along, it is assumed, with a package of Kool-Aid via snail-mail). The RNC has contacted four local Madison TV stations who said they'd run it anyway, even if it's been edited for DNC's purposes.
