What is that a picture of. I mean, I understand what's happening but who are the players?

I believe the executioner in the photo ended up living in the United States. I think members of his family were killed by the VC or NVA prisoner, and it was perfectly allowable under the "rules of war" to execute him because he was wearing civilian clothes.

Since this cartoonist is a conservative, no doubt he did not mean harm toward Bush.

The shooter was a colonel in the South Vietnamese army. The one being shot is a cowardly communist/democrat that just killed the colonel's entire family. His wife and 5 children.

I noticed that, too. It's like a well-oiled propaganda effort made to create a subconscious connection between the two. Amazing. But what you seldom hear is that the executioner in the picture is a S. Vietnamese officer shooting a man who had massacred and tortured several S. Vietnamese soldiers. But can we really expect the popular press to pay attention to facts?
