Brothers, Tonight, Saturday, around 6:25 Pacific time, Bill Bright, Founder of Campus Crusade for Christ died and went to be with the Lord. There were tears of sadness seeing a brother pass away and there were songs of praise to the Lord for using Bill as God did. If you could bow before the Lord for his family and those close to him. Putting aside any opinions or disagreements you might have with CCC but as a great visionary brother in Christ that has been one of the most influencial person for the furthering of the Kingdom of God in the last 5 decades. Bill's vision has made a global impact that we cannot imagine. Praise God that he chooses us to preach his good news.

A while back I listened with great respect to Bill Bright on Focus on the Family radio discussing his
Race to Heaven. Awesome broadcast.
Today Focus will broadcast a tribute In Memory of Bill Bright.
Dennis Rainy, of Family Life Today, part of Campus Crusade for Christ, will also share his thoughts with radio listeners all this week on the famous evangelist.
When I first heard of Dr. Bright he was teaching about fasting; the last I heard from him was his teaching on expressing Jesus-joy in the face of death. Both teachings, IMO, are about dying to self and living to God, and for the faithful Christian, there is no greater freedom.

God rest his soul. Hopefully, he would have found his way to Christ's church, the Catholic Church.

I knew he was ill so this was not surprising news but sad nevertheless. The saw him speak in KC83 (CCC christmas confernece in 1983) and also the same conference in chicago in 1982 then he came to Ohio State's campus in the spring on 1983 and spoke to our group. Even though I might disagree with him on some things he was a great man of God. RIP.

KC 83!!!
I have never been so cold!!! (But then I'm a Texas boy).
I remember seeing Howard Hendricks, and President Reagan made a special videotaped address especially to the conference talking about his faith and his belief in intercessory prayer(which impressed me tremendously). Remember that?

Thanks. I had forgotten about the Reagan video but it was cold. I remember the LSU group missed the first day or two because of the snowstorm.
I saw Reagan in 1984 at St Johns arena in Columbus, Ohio. He was introduced by the great Woody Hayes.
