Does anyone still believe Magic got AIDS from having sex with women? Magic has some feminine mannerisms. Maybe he's bi-sexual.

No. I grew up a Celtics fan. I've never even seen Kobe play on t.v.

Yeah, because blond or not, anyone who doesn't slavishly follow sports must be stupid, huh?

I don't think he did it either. I haven't really heard enough evidence to tell if he did. He always seemed like such a good guy. But so did OJ!

I bet it was a BLT on Rye too, with an extra side of kosher pickles. My favorite!!!
Why didn't she call the police immediately? Did her parents PUSH her to go forward? Did they influence her?
What about the two non-crime related visits by the police to the girl's home?
On Larry Elder tonight, someone on there said that her family has already retained a civil lawyer to hit Kobe in the pocketbook (even if they lose the first trial).

Fact is, we don't know one way or another. The possibilities are: he raped her. He didn't rape her. Or somewhere inbetween.

The first time I saw kobe I nicknamed him lowbeam and have called him that since. He is living up to his nick.

Agreed. That sums up my point quite nicely.

Not exactly. My poorly made point was that it would not be unusual for anyone (who might not follow sports) to not know Kobe's marital status or fatherhood status.
And I pointed out she was blond because they are the smarter verity. </s>

But OJ didn't seem like a nice guy to the police in Brentwood. Remember that Nichole had called for help after OJ beat her a few times.
To: Catspaw
"Or somewhere in between." Well, if he raped her, it was definitely somewhere in between.

It's seems as if there's a huge reluctance here to even consider that she might be telling the truth. People beliece what they want to believe and many do not want their image of Kobe shattered. As a non NBA fan I do not understand his allure. The simple fact is that the D.A. took his time and certainly does not want to be embarrassed by presenting a weak case. In addition, he sought advice from several other D.A.s. They obviously believe it's true and that counts for something in my book.
As an aside, just for once I would like to see a high profile wife who leaves her husband for cheating. This "stand by your man" doormat attitude is getting old. What message does it send to our children? It takes more courage to leave then to stay.

Juanita did not go to Clinton's hotel room...Clinton came to Jaunita's room after he cancelled the meeting.

Love the title of your post, it is so true for so many reasons :)
You bring up a very valid point about "no means no". Besides not going into a strange man's, or a date's apartment, there was a long list of do's and don'ts back in the day. I remember when I started dating, my dad told me to check the gas gauge on the guys car. Remember, oh man I ran out of gas?
I've been wondering if the young woman in question actually brought food up to the room, because this hasn't been mentioned. I don't know what to think, but I do know that the DA in this case has gone through the evidence with a fine toothed comb. I wonder if Kobe was on painkillers for his knee? Sometimes people can have a bad reaction to certain meds...

You are correct. Juanita let Clinton into her hotel room. And because of that fact many RATS would discount her story. Can you see my point at all?
