A police source ruled out hanging, an overdose, a gunshot wound or natural causes in his death.

How about what a coroner's source has to say? That's a pretty strange combo of ruled-out possibilities.

Well, exactly what does this leave? Did he vaporise?

This is a very confusing story. Did the guy off himself, or have an outside induced heart attack, or........What a bunch of nonsense.

So no one is ruling out the possibility that he set himself on fire and burned to death while jumping off a cliff after swallowing glass?

Dr Kelly apparently found it impossible to live with his inner torment.

A police source ruled out hanging, an overdose, a gunshot wound or natural causes in his death.

This story has been confusing me all day, it started at 6:30 this morning. If they don't know how he died, how do they know he killed himself? I'm going to ask for the second time for someone to straighten me out here.

He was the bane of Saddam Hussein, who personally wanted him expelled from the country because he knew where ‘the bodies were buried’.”

Anyone think about this angle?

His wife said he was very upset by what happened with the committee but that he was very angry. Not depressed and angry men may kill someone else but they do not commit suicide! Arkancide in the UK, shut him up good!

Well, we may never learn what happened, but this begins to sound more like suicide to me. The guy probably was some kind of liberal idealist who leaked to the BBC. It sounds as if he blamed somebody by name for lying about the Uranium story and then tried to fudge what he said at the hearing.

Sometimes really bright guys like this are politically stupid. I'll bet he told the BBC reporter a few things "off the record" and then was surprised when they appeared in print, no doubt together with a few assorted lies and similar goodies the reporter made up.

The article says he was mad at the committee for saying that he was a patsy. Problem is, he was a patsy. He thought he was saving the world and instead he played the fool.

So it's the committee's fault that he is dead? I find this extremely confusing.

"A police source ruled out hanging, an overdose, a gunshot wound or natural causes in his death."

So how, exactly did he kill himself? Is this little fact in this piece somewhere, because if it is I missed it. I mean, did he cut his throat, slit his wrists, or beat himself about the head with a large rock?

I swear, this is the strangest story, it asserts he commited suicide (Tom Lantos voice please, all), doesn't say how, and then lists a bunch of causes of death that have been ruled out.

Maybe the darn BBC did kill him, and their Times cronies are just covering up for them.

Clearly he did an inadequate job of taking the fall for the Blair government. If he had told the committee that he was the BBC reporter's source, there would have been a minor fuss, but everything would blow over. Unfortunately, the guy appears to have had some scruples and was unwilling to take the dive for the govt.

Most likely terminated with extreme prejudice by some faction in the British govt.

Baha'i is very big among the one-worlders at the United Nations. In fact if I recall correctly the United Nations has a place in Baha'i doctrine itself, although I'd have to check to be sure.

Basically it looks like Kelly "sexed up" his leak to Gilligan, and when he got caught dead to rights he took the easy way out, knowing full well that he'd leave his enemies in the Blair cabinet with a lot explaining to do, which satisfied his angry feelings towards them.

The act of coward.
