1:41PM Pelosi seeks pension vote anulled by Corbett B. Daly
WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called for House of Representatives to annul the approval in the House Ways and Means Committee of a bill that would change pension laws. Earlier in the day, House Republicans called the police after Democrats walked out of a House committee vote on pension reforms. Pelosi called it an "indignity" to call the police on the Democrats. The Democrats had objected to a procedural move by committee Chairman Bill Thomas, R-Calif., and tried to delay the vote. While Democrats were out of the room, Thomas pushed the bill through unanimously on a voice vote. A Republican staffer asked Capitol Police to remove the Democrats from the room where they had taken refuge. The Democrats left on their own. The bill approved was a substitute for the Portman-Cardin pension bill, which would alter the way companies calculate pension liabilities and would also reform IRA and 401(k) plans.

majority. This does not surprise me one bit, as trouble, instigated by the Dims has been brewing, they have been looking for a fight for many years ,in 1995, there was "The Brawl in the Hall", when former Dim and ranking member, Sam Gibbons, threw a paper wad at Chairman Archer and then the argument went out in the hall, where a Dim grabbed the tie of a Republican. All of this was caught on video tape. DANG .. I never heard that story ..
Wow .. can you just imagine Pelosi in a fight .. FOFL

That woman is a nasty piece of work - she does everything behind the scenes, manipulates pols through her husband's FORTUNE and they dance to her tune. Don't fall for her "wide-eyed" look (she was that way before the lifts!) She is one scarey piece of work. Many in SF politics have learned to play her game or not play at all.

What's your take on this?It seems the socialists threatened the Republicans with bodily harm. One socialist called a republican member a fruitcake and threatened to do him some harm.

Pelosi is up there now lying and spinning.....Why were the Dims in the library and not in the committee meeting? Personally, I wish the Republicans would have the police remove every dim from the Congress, yes I have a dream!!

Dems are saying they only left to "discuss the matter."
Of course, their "storming out of the room" was over something else - NOT!
