BOB GRAHAM - EMBARRASSMENT TO FLORIDA (& rest of America!)
Neal Boortz web page ^ | 7/17/03 | Neal Boortz

Posted on 07/17/2003 6:16:04 AM PDT by Elkiejg

Here’s a recent quote from Senator Bob Graham, Florida’s embarrassment.

"If the standard of impeachment that the Republicans set for Bill Clinton, that a personal, consensual relationship was the basis for impeachment, would not a president who knowingly deceived the American people about something as important as whether to go to war meet the standard of impeachment?"

Now the reason that Bob Graham can get away with this nonsense is because he knows that he’s trying to appeal to Democratic voters. Democratic voters are, generally speaking, less intelligent than those who vote Republican or Libertarian. Democratic voters will buy this idiocy that Clinton was impeached because of a sexual relationship.

Once again … and maybe it will sink in this time … Clinton was impeached because he committed perjury. He lied under oath. That’s a crime. People can go to jail for that. He lied to deny a woman her day in court under a law that he, Clinton, signed into law.

Bob Graham understands this … but he also understands that he can ignore the truth and change the facts in order to enrage the passions of the know-nothings who might actually vote for him.

These people are going to regret ever bringing this subject up as it is going to come back to bite them. It may take a while but it will happen.

Graham is not getting a traction, not even with the faithful Democratic voters.

This is a sad example of a moderate to liberal politician turning into a rabid ultraliberal to win a few votes, but he does not have any charisma to pull it off.

Only Clinton could get away with speaking such nonsense and get elected over and over again.

Keep in mind, he's from the same state where people are too dumb to read their ballots, and their supreme court is... the Floriduh Supreme Court.

Saying that Graham is an embarrassment to that state is quite an insult!

I used to have some small amount of respect for Graham. But once he entered the Presidential race, he turned into a demagogue. The stupidity of his statements amayzed and enraged me to no end. I thought he was an intelligent statesman. But he's just another RAT.

They never regret anything. They will just shrug it off and make up something else.

"would not a president who knowingly deceived the American people"
_____________________________________________

Doesn't this cross the line to slander? If I publically question the integrity of a person, i.e. call him a liar like he compaired with the Clinton situation when he was under oath, I have desecrated the integrity of a man I am in competition with for a work position. And by purposely providing it's intent to the papers, it borders over the edge of libel.
