Kerry interview. Now says it is NOT the 16 words, he isn't even focussed on those, but rather the "pattern."
Thinks "questions must be answered."
Ranting that we don't have enough police. Tony Snow tells him he sounds a little "chicken little-ish". HA!

I hope someone else saw this and will post comments, as I am trying to recall it from memory.
Also, someone has told him to smile, and it is even worse than his hound dog look. Yikes!

I liked the part where he said we should copy the Israelis' methods of terrorist detection.
Excuse me, but isn't one of their main techniques racial profiling, which is something the Democrats would never allow?
To: Miss Marple
Also, when he had ranted for a bit about the bad intelligence, Tony Snow asked him if he was going to confront the Blair government about their bad intelligence, which they still stand behind. Stammer, stammer, that is when he went to the "I am not focussed on the 16 words."
I personally thought he was rambling and was trying to tie in a lot of things into a big scandal, but all it came out with was sounding like an attack on Cheney, Tenet, and (of course) the President.

Good point.

Oh, good, you saw it, too! Yes, that remark on Israel was really telling, wasn't it?
To: Miss Marple

Yikes, indeed!

I saw part of it too, and heard Kerry's comments about not enough checking of container ships, and that's "not chicken little-ish" and so forth.
All I could think of was how often the Dems change their lines of attack, depending on what they see as their opportunity to make political gain...not anything truly wise or helpful to the country.

Yes, I was wondering if it is that he will use ANYTHING to attack the president, or if he really is just totally clueless in this matter?
To: I still care
A little from column A and a lot from column B.

What's the matter, don't like the Lerch meets Herman Munster meets Bloodhound look? :)
(no offense to Bloodhound owners)

Probably both. There is another thread currently up from Drudge that says that Mary Matlin is coming back and the White House is launching a PR offensive on intelligence and the WMD. Coupled with Brokaw's interview this morning on Imus, I think Kerry was doing pre-emptive damage control.
Terrible smile...looks like his face is going to crack.

I wondered why Tony was talking to Mr. Ed until I saw the picture you posted.
To: Miss Marple
I saw it as well & found it most interesting really. I know it wasn't but what, maybe 5 days ago this was all about those 16 words in the SOTU. But after 5 days play in the media, 5 days of Bush lied, The intel was false, & what did he know & when did he know it they are now starting to broaden it out to everything else.
Very sneaky ploy I might say since they couldn't get the American public riled up with their rhetoric about the WMD evidence being false or hyped, so they pull these 16 words while making it all a big deal then go back to the WMD intel being false or cooked again.
I just can't wait till the info comes out about what we have found over there. Ahhhh it will be so much fun to watch their jaws drop yet again.

The guy wont win because of his looks. I hate to be catty, (I am a man!) but the guy is just too ugly to be President. Can you see him with his Herman Munster looks saying, "We will not fail........?"

I couldn't figure out why he was being interviewed, until I saw the article about Mary Matlin and the Republicans going on the offensive.
He was throwing everything but the kitchen sink into his attack. Tony Blair comes tomorrow. It should be an interesting day.
To: cardinal4
LOL! I have wished for a depilatory ray to remove his hair (also Edwards). Without hair they are nothing.

Okay, I'm a woman and meow catty - but he is, kindly put, no stud-muffin! The thought of that man ever wearing a flight suit causes shuddering all through the night.
