Maybe the point is that the Dinosaurs were already on the verge of surrendering...

YEC response - dinosaurs were wiped out by the Great Flood...although not all of them, apparently. There are cave paintings in the Southwest, and some in Europe with very "dinosaur-looking" creatures.

And it is very possible that references to dragons was another name for dinosaurs - especially since the word "dinosaur" is of very recent origin.

Oh come on, we all know that EVERYTHING before modern times was caused one way or t'other by flaming fire from the skies. After all, the scientists keep telling us this every time one of them needs a new grant.
