This is quick and easy. Only six questions and the results are tabulated quickly.
Which political sterotype are you? (click on link to take the "test")
The author says:
"I have voted in every Presidential election since 1984, and in that time have voted for two Democrats, two Republicans, and one third-party candidate. I am already pretty sure how I'll vote in 2004, but only by about 90%.
I voted in the Democratic primary this year, but the candidates I supported lost, and I will probably vote Republican in the general election since I don't like where today's Democratic Party is--class warfare, anti-gun paranoia, and religion and abortion extremists make me ill."

My result was "Libertarian". What did it have to say about that? Here is the quote from the poll:
"Libertarian - You believe that the main use for government is for some people to lord it over others at their expense. You maintain that the government should be as small as possible, and that civil liberties, "victimless crimes", and gun ownership should be basic rights. You probably are OK with capitalism. Your historical role model is Thomas Jefferson."
OK, how does "Libertarian" translate to "The main use for government is for some people to lord it over others at their expense"? Is the guy who created this poll on drugs?
To: right way right
I have to admit something that I have been holding back on it is that in my dreams I see the Democrat party imploding going the way of the wigs and the two party system would leave just the Republicans and Libertarians balancing power.Yeah, that would be nice! BTW, if you want to read some good opinions from a libertarian/christian view, check out Vox Day. He's a Worldnetdaily.com columnist. Plus, he has a mohawk. :^P
See, we're not all pot heads!

OK, how does "Libertarian" translate to "The main use for government is for some people to lord it over others at their expense"? Well, I'm a libertarian, (mostly fiscally) and I agree with that statement completely. I'm very cynical about the motives of politicians of any stripe. For example, the primary benefit of the IRS to the politicians isn't revenue collection. It's the threat of living in a state of perpetual economic jeopardy which keeps us in line. Big government is a very useful tool of the ruling class.

Yes suprised. The test is apparently flawed. I took the test you posted and found I was significantly Right Conservative. No wonder OWK calls me a fascist. ;-)

Uh oh, I'm one of those nasty "L's".

Ronald Reagan for me. I wanted some taxes to pay for Defence. I put that same answer, but still came up L. Maybe it was the gun question that got me -- I put "no restrictions whatsoever."

True Conservative - You own stock in BriteSmile, wear ugly Mr. Rogers sweaters, believe in a one-issue platform, scream incessantly at your guests, raise money every campaign season and keep soliciting after the primary is a done deal and failed at trying an innovative style of show on a long established liberal network. You hire people of questionable reputation and keep them forever, regardless of their glaring and publicly noticed character lapses. Your closest friends are named friend named Richard and Connie. Your historical role model is Alan Keyes.

Huh, I guess I am a republican. I have often wondered since I differed on a few issues.
Republican - You believe that the free market will take care of most things, but that the government should be there with moderate taxation to provide for national defense and enforcing morality. Your historical role model is Ronald Reagan.

Remind me never to take online political quizzes again. OK. But remember that the "gift is to see face the truth."
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
Wow, how the heck did that quiz mess up that last sentence "Your closest friends are named friend named Richard and Connie"? It should read
Your closest friends are named Richard and Connie
