Freeper Travis McGee, has finished his much anticipated novel, Enemies Foreign and Domestic, and it has been sent off to print. His web site indicates it will be shipping in 3-4 weeks.

He has 20 chapters of the book available online as excerpts, so you can get a real good feel of the book right there on the web site before ever ordering it.
My own review of the book, which I have been privileged to read in its entirety, is as follows...
Enemies Foreign & Domestic is as compelling a fictional novel about liberty and the 2nd amendment as you will ever read. It is packed with real life issues right off today's headlines and the political camps on both sides of the issue. It is also just a good, old-fasioned barnstorming novel that you can't put down. In his first at bat, Matthew Bracken has hit one out of the park.
Let's all congratulate Freeper Travis McGee on a job very well done...and consider getting one of his books. We have another Freeper Author in our midst and I am sure his novel is going to be picked up and taken nationally by someone. It's simply too good a read for it to be any other way, and it sends all the right messages.

If you guys get a chance, take a look at what Travis McGee has done.
To: Jeff Head
Yes, judging from the few excerpts I looked at. The trouble with starting a book like that is taking time out for other things in life like working, eating, sleeping, Freeping, etc.

I think you guys will really like this book. Travis has done a heck of a job.

I've read sample chapters online.
Can't believe your book is a first novel; it reads like a dizzying, fast-paced shocker penned by an old pro.
The scene of the roadblock in the countryside gone bad is so cinematic, switching back perspective from "long shot" to "close up" to "medium shot" in such an expert way, that Hollywood producers will be salivating for movie rights.
Best of success!

I been waitin'. ;^)
Waitin' for your next one also, Jeff. ;^)
It is great to see that some grassroot activists get their books to print.
I'm not sure that I would have the patience and/or intelligence to write a book but I sure do enjoy reading them.

Well, I know Matt's has been more than worth the wait. I'll have to let others speak for my own in that regard.
FYI, I do plan to have Volume IV out in November.

Well, since I am buying FR authors book, I can join the book club...and since I am working on my own series...I suppose I can join the other one too.
BTW, when I am done with the Dragon's Fury Series about World War III, I intend to write a novel (not fictional either) about Klamath. I am going to call it...
THE STAND AT KLAMATH FALLS
How rural western farmes fought entrenched environmentalists
and agencies of the federal government...and won!
A lot of the story and wording is already on my site where I documented the entire story in 2001, The Stand at Klamath Falls
Best regards to you both.
Jeff
