Freeper Travis McGee, has finished his much anticipated novel, Enemies Foreign and Domestic, and it has been sent off to print. His web site indicates it will be shipping in 3-4 weeks.

Click the Cover to go to the EFAD Site

He has 20 chapters of the book available online as excerpts, so you can get a real good feel of the book right there on the web site before ever ordering it.

My own review of the book, which I have been privileged to read in its entirety, is as follows...

Enemies Foreign & Domestic is as compelling a fictional novel about liberty and the 2nd amendment as you will ever read. It is packed with real life issues right off today's headlines and the political camps on both sides of the issue. It is also just a good, old-fasioned barnstorming novel that you can't put down. In his first at bat, Matthew Bracken has hit one out of the park.
Let's all congratulate Freeper Travis McGee on a job very well done...and consider getting one of his books. We have another Freeper Author in our midst and I am sure his novel is going to be picked up and taken nationally by someone. It's simply too good a read for it to be any other way, and it sends all the right messages.

Some of those all-nighters do start to catch up with you. But, when the words start tumbling out, you gotta let them come...and then spend several hours making sense of them and, with the help of friends, polishing them up so they become a finished product.

What an experience!

Exactly. Claire's review is extremely well said, and very timely...and spot on! Matt's book deserves every word of it...with much more to come as more and more people, editors, reviewers and organizations find out about it.

Way to go Matt!

Prologue, 51 Chapters and an Epilogue. A very healthy, exciting, compelling and enjoyable read throughout too! Something everyone can really sink their teeth into.

The only problem is, when I unleash a string of words while sleep-deprived, several days don't help in deciphering them.

Through Book III it has not happened...yet. Can't let too many future events out of the bag.

I will tell you this, in this fictional series, Dragn's Fury, the SHTF with both Red China and its allies, and a confederation of fundamental Islamic states, all combined in an unholy alliance against us...and it is no cake walk...it gets real dicey.

You write the books but all I gotta say is a ChiCom/Islamic Jihad team up is inevitable. May be run by rogue PLA elements what have you. The weapon is available (nukes). Only question is:
How can it be detonated on US soil with plausible deniability? What cut out will the ChiComs use? If I were ChiComs I would have a few prepositioned nukes on US soil with people who can maintain them. A low maintenance nuke.

Am reading "Icon" by Frederic Forsythe. Very good

Congrats, Travis.

You've been a source for me since the USS Cole Bombing when your on-line freeper insight was instrumental in ferrating out the right directions to look.

I will get your book.
