We doubt that this will come as a surprise to Republicans, but Hillary Rodham Clinton wants to become Queen.
Well, that is sort of what she told KISS-108 morning man Matt Siegel the other day when she was flogging her best seller 'Living History' and promoting her book signing in Cambridge tomorrow.
'I think that we have to recognize in our country that many other nations have divided the responsibilities of head of state and head of government between two people,' she said.
'You know, some people have a king or a queen, and a prime minister, or a presdient and a prime minister. Weve put them all on the back of one person and then we have made the environment so impossible..'
Whereupon Matty mused, 'So let me see if I have got you right, you dont want to be president, but you wouldn't mind being queen?'
Hillary, giggling nervously at the thought, said 'We will see what happens, oh my God...I can see the headline that comes out of that!'
Hope we didnt disappoint you Your Highness.

900+ FBI files (on elected and non elected public officials) can give you such an "EDGE" in political things...know what I mean...

I hate to say it, but there are probably an awfully lot of Americans who no longer fear the idea of a King or Queen.
After all, ever since the Kennedy's and Camelot showed up, America has had a de facto "royal" family. The same shallow people also worshipped Princess Di. The Media promotes a royal image as good.
"American Royalty" no longer has the bad connotation it used to have! Hillary may be right. A lot of Americans feel she has a right to the Throne!

Airforce one goes down in flames with Bill, Hillary and Al on board.
Arriving in heaven, they meet God seated on a throne. God points to
Al Gore and says "Who are you ?". Al says "I am Al Gore, vice president
of the United States". God says "OK, you may take a seat at my left".
God then turns to Bill Clinton and asks "Who are you?". Bill replies
"I am Bill Clinton, president of the United States". God says "OK, you
may take a seat at my right". Finally, God turns to Hillary and
says "Who are you?" ... to which Hillary replies "I am Hillary Rodham
Clinton - and you are sitting in MY chair !".

The Amercian Spectator said that the books are going into the dollar bin now. I think I like this version better:
