Now, this is a crying shame. I've cherished this classic link for a long while:
Breaking: NSA Cold Busted on FreeRepublic!, but now I see it has been deleted (well after the fact). Maybe if we ask the Admin Moderator really nicely, it can come back for a few days.
I also remember one of the earliest thread deletions on FR: "The Anus of the POTUS" (no link). It was active in the days after the Starr Report was released.

A Classic! I have that thing save to disk somewhere on this box.
Excuse me - I think I have something in my eye...

Could THIS be that thread?
Topic: White WaterThe anus of POTUS
Bartlebooth
GETTING TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TEXT
Footnotes 210 and 237 of the Starr Report allude to "oral-anal contact" between the President and Monica Lewinsky, but leave unanswered the intriguing question: whose tongue, whose anus?

Ah, my finest hour on FreeRepublic. I'm gonna save Breaking: NSA Cold Busted on FreeRepublic! for my personal archives. Great to see it again.

Some of my favorites have been deleted, mainly, I guess because they became 'silly' and didn't pertain to politics! Sorry, but I LOVE threads like that. We all need a break and some laughter in our lives.
