Kind of warms the heart, doesn't it ?? Yes, it does- I've never forgiven or forgotten that "Daisy" commercial that helped doom Barry Goldwater.
The Left has lost the ability to control the spin cycle they used to impose on America- but they delude themselves into thinking that if they just screech louder ( ...like cloning a leftist Rush & airing him ) Americans will finally "get it."
Problem is, we "got it already"-- and didn't like it much.

Thanks, but "Hank's blog," is actually entitled "the view from Arlen."

Great idea. I'm going to bookmark these blogs.
I started a blog of my own about six weeks ago but I don't think it will interest anybody here. It's just about my weight loss/exercise plan. It's basically a diary to myself to keep me motivated to stick with the plan. I record my diet, exercise and a few comments about how the day went.
If anybody wants to see it, it's posted here. But it ain't much and I don't think many will be interested (except maybe those who want to lose some weight). Perhaps if I pick up some more traffic, I'll put a little more effort into it and start discussing some conservative issues as well.

Hey great idea! I'll be adding some of these sites to my blogroll shortly.
Here's mine: The Blog That Care Forgot
I agree blogging gets short shrift here of FR. And I don't think blogs are "giant vanity posts". Its apples and oranges.
Freepers should all be reading Steven den Beste, while not strictly conservative, his thoughts on geopolitics and military matters are amazing.
Also check out Bill Whittle , particularly his essay "Confidence".
As an added bonus for freepers, many high-profile bloggers are Christians. Donald Sensing is a Methodist minister.
There are also a number of blogs from active duty and retired military, as well as a growing number of blogs from Iraq. Check out my blogroll for the links.
