50,000 people go to a baseball game, but the game was rained out. A refund is then due. The team is about to mail refunds when the Congressional Democrats stopps them and decrees that they send out refund amounts based on the Democrat National Committee's interpretation of fairness. After all,if the refunds are made based on the price each person paid for the tickets, most of the money would go to the wealthiest ticket holders. That would be unconscionable! |

Do you think that the Dems are being set up again? That is my sense of it all.
This Administration has been very good at maneuvering the Democrats into contradicting themselves. The Administration could come out in the future and claim that they did this because they were protecting sources. There are a lot of possiblilities.
Frankly, I do not think that the Bush team is that stupid. I love the way that they have toying with the Libs and the media over the last 2 years plus. It is sometimes fun to watch. It is more fun than Chess.

George John Tenet was sworn in as Director of Central Intelligence on 11 July 1997 following a unanimous vote by both the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the full Senate. In this position he heads the Intelligence Community (all foreign intelligence agencies of the United States) and directs the Central Intelligence Agency.
Mr. Tenet served as the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence, having been confirmed in that position in July 1995. Following the departure of John Deutch in December 1996, he served as Acting Director.
Mr. Tenet previously served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council. While at the NSC, he coordinated Presidential Decision Directives on ''Intelligence Priorities,'' ''Security Policy Coordination,'' ''US Counterintelligence Effectiveness,'' and ''US Policy on Remote Sensing Space Capabilities.'' He also was responsible for coordinating all interagency activities concerning covert action.
Prior to serving at the National Security Council, he served on President Clinton's national security transition team.

The administration needs to harp on the fact that Tony Blair stands by British intel claims that Iraq was trying to obtain nuclear material from Niger. The media RATS are refusing to report this because then their little whipped up story would be a non-story and would be DOA. I don't see what Tenant needs to take the fall for. No one has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Iraq wasn't trying to obtain material from Niger. And isn't this the standard in the mainstream press re: Iraq - everything needs to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt? Tony Blair says he had other intel besides the "forged" documents which he based his claims on.

Brian Wilson on FoxNews just reported that down on the street Terry McCauliffe drove by shouting to him out of his car,
"I'm telling you, Bush is gone." Wilson could barely contain his laughter.
To: MJY1288
That took place about an hour ago according to Wilson.

LOL, is that for real?

Terry has to learn to stay on his medications. They don't do any good otherwise.

Yep. McAuliffe had just taken part in a panel on FoxNews. His demeanor was very subdued, while he presented his views. They were still out there, but he was doing his best to keep himself in check. Then he went outside and couldn't contain himself any longer. What a hoot.
