Debbie Sledge (Sister Sledge) 1954

Life is like pancakes, circular, flat, and topped with treasures.

Jimmy Smits 1958

Jimmy Smits the guy who replaced the guy on that show about cops or something in New York

Why am I famous?

I am an excellent driver.

1776 - The American Declaration of Independence was read aloud to Gen. George Washington's troops in New York.

We hold these truths to be self evident...

1872 - The doughnut cutter was patented by John F. Blondel.

Donuts are a close cousin to Pancakes.

Would you like some coffee with your pancakes?

Todays Wednesday field trip is to the Hollywood walk of fame.

1922 - Johnny Weissmuller became the first person to swim the 100 meters freestyle in less than a minute.

Ohhhhhhaaahhhhaaahhhooohhhaaaaoohhhh

1968 - The first All-Star baseball game was  played indoors.

It took place at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas.

We are counting baseball stadiums

The Astrodome was originally designed as a giant pancake.

I sm very curious about this George fellow.

Pancakes Wednesdays

Definitely

That's a great idea. Waffles are great! (They throw like Frisbees during a food fight.) LOL

Today's FEEBLE attempt at humor:

A fellow and his wife in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where the people are all
patriots, were blessed with the birth of twins, two identical girls.
These twins were born on the 4th of July, and the father, being
patriotic, said to his wife, "We will name them Liberty and Justice,
after the pledge of allegiance".

His wife said, "Are you nuts? You can't have girls going through
life with names like Liberty and Justice. We are going to name them
regular girl's names like Mary or Jane". Well, the argument went on for
about a month, when a compromise was reached. They would each name one
of the girls. The man chose Liberty and the wife picked Elizabeth.

As the girls grew, they were so identical, they kept pulling tricks
on people who couldn't tell them apart. Finally, when they were about
18, a young man took interest in them. He would take one out on a date
but he was never sure which one he was with. He decided he would marry
one of them, or both if he could get away with it, but he wasn't sure
which one he would marry, if he could only get one.

He went to the girls' father and explained his quandary. "I love your
daughters and want to marry one of them, but I can't tell them apart, so
I will leave it up to you".......

"Give me Liberty or give me Beth".

Excerpt from the Remarks by President Bush in honor of Independence Day
United States Air Force Museum, Dayton, Ohio | July 4, 2003

"...Our nation is still at war. The enemies of America plot against us.
And many of our fellow citizens are still serving and sacrificing
and facing danger in distant places.
Many military families are separated. Our people in uniform do not have easy duty,
and much depends on their success. Without America's active involvement in the world,
the ambitions of tyrants would go unopposed, and millions would live at the mercy of terrorists.
With Americans' active involvement in the world, tyrants learn to fear, and terrorists are on the run..."

There, you see - having hair in your pancakes isn't always a BAD thing!

LOL!!! True, but probably only in that case. ;)
