Thanks, JustPiper, for calling this to my attention. This kind of cruelty just sickens me. This must sound harsh to other people, but if this 8yo tortures an animal out of boredom, then he's morally bankrupt already. You dont' start learning values and compassion suddenly at 8yo. I'm afraid this is only the beginning of a life of cruelty to others.

I agree MeMouse...I seen this with my oldest child ;( The reasons for this cruelty go so deep.
