Shriners opened their national convention Sunday in Minneapolis, but a little unscheduled business -- involving heated words and fisticuffs -- took place across the street from the Convention Center.
The altercation, lasting a couple of minutes or more, was a confrontation between at least two Shriners and three animal-rights activists. Fifteen or more protesters, many dressed as clowns in face paint and fright wigs, carried signs alleging cruel treatment of animals in the circus that bears the name of the international fraternal organization.
The police were called, but no one was charged. Each side blamed the other for starting the fight, and there appeared to be no serious injuries.

Lori Peterson, a Minneapolis attorney and activist, who wore a bright orange fright wig and a polka-dot bow tie.
A lawyer in a clown suit? Hmm, something that makes sense for a change?
You can take all the clown lawyers in the country and mix them with all the PETA type morons and collectively they won't ever amount to anything compared to these people.
I wonder when was the last time this clown lawyer or anyone from PETA made a real difference in a child's life? I bet the answer is never. Unlike the Shriners, who do great things!

Lori Peterson is a long time local radical who led the feminazi suit against Stroh's Brewing in St. Paul. She is certifiably nuts.

Given the events in the past few weeks, it's only fair to ask:
Were any of the protestors the subject of a Shriner hit-and-run?

The headline should read "Salt of the Earth America gets fed up with leftist idiots and policies".

Attention Shriners:
We, the real Americans, love what you do for kids.
We also recommend that next time you just get some burgers and enjoy them conspicuously in fron to the protestors. That way, if they strike you there'll be a witness or two telling the cops, "I don't understand, he was standing there eating a Big Mac and minding his own business and she yelled 'I'm going to get you monkey style' and attacked him." PETA Schlubs get a free trip downtown.

Thanks for the ping. Wonder how long it will take for the anti-Masonic crowd to show up?
