Democratic presidential candidate the Rev. Al Sharpton yesterday compared President Bush to a Los Angeles gang leader and demanded that he apologize to the American military and their families for challenging dissident Iraqis to "bring them on."

"I'm in Los Angeles. For the president to say, 'Bring it on,' almost like daring and provoking Iraqis to kill American soldiers," Mr. Sharpton said, "he sounds more like a gang leader in South-Central L.A. than one that is trying to institute a policy of democracy and reconstruction in the world."

The media considers Al Sharpton to be a viable candidate and gives him exposure while Lyndon LaRouche is blacklisted from the DNC "invite" list.

For several reasons, none of them all that valid. The racist/liberal press and T.V. gives him his affirmative action " face time ". He is, sadly, a candidate, so throw that into the mix too. Add to that, he has a gang of thugs. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

The truth is, that Al Sharpton, as a kid, very much like Marjo ( have you ever heard of him ? ), though NOT even as much as he, " preached " in the church he went to. The adults thought that he was " cute " and so, nicknamed him " Rev ". That's it. Al never even went to college; let alone a Divinity school. He's NEVER had a church, but he's " preached " violence and hatred to the rabble, in the streets, and anywhere else thugs gather.

Okay, then you must be youngish. I'll explain....

Marjo, who was named for Mary, the mother of GOD and Joseph, broke into the mainstrean sometime in the early '70s, I think. He was a young, tall, skinny, curly/mop-haired guy, who had been " preaching " ( in revival tents mostly ) since he was a toddler. He suddenly was EVERYWHERE on T.V. talk shows, documentaries were done about him, and I think that for a while, he was even in the movies. Then, he just as quickly disappeared. He was NOT a " televangalist ". He was more like some kind of " POP STAR ". It was weird.

Anyway, now, I hope you understand the refference. :-)
