All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. I interpret this as meaning they are still citizens of Mexico and therefore not subject to our jurisdiction. If they have not sworn an oath to the US then they are still citizens (illegally resident in our country) of Mexico (or wherever) not US citizens. Amnesty may redefine that to mean we have made them subjects. A child born to a foreign national is still a foreign national.

Do you happen to remember maybe Luis' first campaign? Someone threw a brick through the window of his campaign HQ and Gut got the news coverage -- claiming it was his opponent, get this... wearing a big band-aid on his head, claiming he was injured in the process.
Smelled a rat then, almost everybody has smelled him since.

A child born to a foreign national is still a foreign national. Tell that to the California Welfare department and California Department of Education....I would suspect others in here from California can back me up on these goings on. As late as a year ago I would have conversations with my family and friends in So. Cal where I grew up about this happening. Granted, it's not like it's hundreds of people daily, but paying for schooling & welfare of one illegal's child because they ran across the border at moment of delivery is charity too much. The buck has to stop somewhere.

Although it's not as bad as Cali, I went to a fourth of July fireworks show and I heard more spanish than I did english (in Colorado). The issue of illegal immigration needs to be dealt with or we're all in big trouble.
If the republicans want amnesty the democrats will want full citizenship. Cali has been under liberal rule to long to recover but if it could be turned around it would serve as a ray of hope for the rest of the US.

I was afraid for a while he might try this, but I think Amnesty for any illegals is off the radar for now. No Dem is going to push for it either. It would be the STUPIDIST think any pol could try, in the current atmosphere.
And how about Cali? Maybe the huge number of illegals are helping to push that state into the Fiscal Ocean.

This looks like it is worthwhile...but I do not want to waste time and effort coming to a BASH BUSH rally...just 2 months before the election..... there are many, well-paid liberals doing that bashing job.
A bashathon would get GREAT publicity.....I can see the headlines now...REPUBLICANS/CONSERVATIVE BASH BUSH AND WANT HIM OUT.....but it would be WRONG.
Let's keep our issues with the President internal...send him an email or write him.
Let's let the DEMOCRATS be the party that is splitting....
Suggest we all understand the agenda and speakers BEFORE we go

Hopefully, this will wake-up our representatives in government. I don't think anyone wants to see more Liberals in office. These issues cross party lines. We just want to let the politicians know that we are watching them very closely regarding these issues.
There are more Democrats than Republicans who favor the influx of illegals and outsourcing of jobs overseas. We need to get more Republicans involved, including the White House.

Every radio station, talk show, television, newspapers,
newsletters has to be informed about Sept. 10 & 11 and the word about illegal immigration needs to be publicized as well as the Recall Davis effort depicts. The recall effort was very successful.
I will send to all on my e-mail list. We must start now and get people to attend. Thanks for all your efforts.
