I saw an article on a 'stealth porsche' two years ago ......the darn thing had a state of the art radar/laser detector, a plate foil, and such (which by themselves are not much).....however the mark of distinction came in the form of a thin layer of what was claimed to be radar absorbent coating!

The thing looked cool as heck!

Causing havoc on the autobahn. FYI German cops have their own fast cars ...last time i checked bimmers .....'normal' versions with sirens .....since when it comes to the autobahn one thing is for certain! You need something with a lot more oomph than a Crown Victoria squad car to keep up with a BMW M3, Brabus-tuned Mercedes AMGs or, even worse, a Bugatti EB-110 driven by a dude with aspirations of being the next Michael Schumacher! And considering the autobahn is meant for high speeds then for certain the cops needed something fast. Outside the streets of Monaco and the tracks of Modena Italy the best place to see a super-exotic (and i do not mean a corvette or a firebird....think along the lines of a McClaren or Pagani Zonda ) is on the autobahn. It is probably the only place on earth where true sportscars can be allowed to test their limits, and do so on the road (in lieu of a track or some other enclosed area).

However the 'stealth' porsche i mentioned was certainly too expensive even for the Deutsche coppers! They had to stick to 'normal' speedsters!
