**If a woman doesn't locate a man to be her husband, it's because she sells herself cheap. **

I'm thinking of a particular friend that would love to be married..her standards are high (not unreasonably so though) and she hasn't found a man with equal standards as yet. Per my friend, there are too many men interested in the frosting but not the cake.

Good way of putting it. Hard for the normal conservative types to get noticed.

On the other hand, I'm not that interested in the type that go after the frosting. So I guess I don't mind so much. ;)

I sure wish I knew what the answer to this problem is. Certainly, part of the problem is that there are too many women who don't exercise the supreme power they have in any relationship, the power to say, "No."

Yet that isn't the problem we both citing. It's my contention that there are still lots of fine and decent young folks of both genders. The problem is how to get them together. Who knows. Maybe there's something to the old adage that you have to take a chance to have a chance.

I know a young man that took a chance (not that long ago) with a lass I'm sure he considered at first to be "out of reach." The hand hasn't yet played out, but if it continues in the direction it seems to be, I think he may have hit the jackpot.

I refuse to accept that too few exist. I just think if people stay active, and make themselves available, eventually they must stumble into the right place at the right time. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I am also looking to be married, but most women that I end up meeting, are looking for a one night stand or are just messed up in the head.
