Bill Clinton's lawyer co-hosts Fox and Friends! We must demand equal time!

Posted on 06/30/2003 6:27:03 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Lis Wiehl who is a legal analyst for Foxnews co-hosted Fox and Friends this morning. I think that is perfectly fine, even though she was Bill Clinton's lawyer during impeachment and a well known liberal.

Fox needs to now provide equal time and have Ann Coulter as a guest host for an entire week! Month? Permenant?

Lis Wiehl was second in command on President Clinton's defense team during his impeachment.

Lis Wiehl joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a legal analyst in October 2001. Currently an associate professor of law at the University of Washington School of Law, Wiehl also serves as a legal commentator on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered.

Prior to joining FNC, Wiehl served as a legal analyst for KIRO-TV (CBS). From November 2000-February 2001, she provided legal analysis for NBC News. Before that, Wiehl held the position of principal deputy chief minority investigative counsel for the United States House of Representatives, Committee on Judiciary. Additionally, from 1990-1995, she served as an executive assistant at the United States Attorney’s office. Wiehl began her career as a litigation associate for Perkins Coie law firm.

Wiehl received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College in 1983 and received her Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985. In addition, she earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.

We need to demand equal time for Conservatives!

Demand that Ann Coulter Guest Host Fox and Friends! If you get the notion, lets lobby Fox to give Ann her own show....Imagine Ann having her own TV show!!!!

No.

Hillary is liberal. We know that, and we have evidence to prove it.

Lise is a former prosecutor and current law professor who provides commentary on Fox and maybe on other networks that I don't watch. I have not seen liberal, much less Hitlery-liberal stuff from her. OK?

Amazing how quickly they flip, as in anything for a job. I'm sick of her holier-than-thou attitude.

You're far more forgiving than I am. All I can remember is the frizzy-headed Wiehl snuggled up against Julian Epstein during the trial--both of them disgusting.

The question should be, which is the real Liz Wiehl?

Yeah, the one with enough lipgloss on to change oil in a Mercedes.

The name "Fox and Friends" is unfortunate. There was a movie by the German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder called "Fox and His Friends". As I recall every character in the film was gay (except for Fox's sister). The film shows how Fox (played by Fassbinfer), a gay carnival worker who wins the lottery, is exploited by his gay "friends".

This film also had a lot more more naked men in it than are in the average film that I see. I wonder if the people who named the FNC show had heard of it.

Some other Fassbinder films starred the beautiful actress Hanna Schygulla.

I've never been in the slightest impressed by Lis Wiehl's
opinions, point of view, etc. all the time she's been w/
O'Reilly on the radio or as a talking head on TV==but I'm a little shocked to learn she was (one of?) Clinton's Impeachment lawyers---in all the back and forth between her and Bill O. I never heard that mentioned.

I once heard Lis Wiehl on NPR saying that the testimony of a witness in a particular trial should be thrown out because he claimed that had identified a person as being black by their voice on the phone.

This just seemed ridiculous to me. I'm sure that a scientific test would show that it is very often possible to determine whether someone is white or black by their voice (at least among Americans). Why this is I'm not sure.

The show was not named by anyone at Fox. They held a contest where viewers sent in the best names.
